A 6 track long, mostly instrumental album full of ambient synth-driven tracks backed with reverb and delay, to create a psychedelic and cool soundscape. The title track has a feeling of emptiness and sounds quite depressing, hence the name of the song and the album. This album (well, the first song) came from a drone-album project I started, where I only got the pseudo-drone-metal song done and nothing else.

This album would be a double album on vinyl, with tracks 1 and 2 occupying the A and B-side of the first disc, respectively. Tracks 3 and 4 occupy the second disc's A-side (C-side) and tracks 5 and 6 occupy the second disc's B-side. (D-side)

Made using Ableton Live Lite, and enhanced with Audacity. (added reverb, slightly reducing the speed on tracks 1-3 by a slight amount to slightly increase their length (no more than a 5% reduction in speed, so the difference is almost inaudible) and some other things)

Sirius is named after the brightest star in the sky, which I believe is the 5th closest star to the Solar System (and also probably the 6th closest star to the Solar System, which is why I named the 6th track that) and its the least-ambient song on the album, but still features relatively ambient portions, along with some synth solos. (Layers of notes that go up a bit high and have no sense of music theory or rhyme or reason lol)

I'm very proud of this, and it took me a day to make. I'm finally done and I hope you people like it.

A 7 track album of synth solos of mostly higher quality than on Synth Solos Demos EP. They're also longer.

Made using Ableton Live Lite 10 and the keyboard is an Alesis v61.

The Final Solo

Cosmi

The only song with vocals: An improvised countdown/number section at the very beginning, and soaked in reverb and echo. This song is the most synthy of the album, and it contrasts with the doomy sound of the opening song and the eerie sound of Gull. 

Featuring 3 chaotic synth solos, which overwhelm the listener with the notes being on top of layers and layers of other notes with the same left-right delay pan, which adds up to a somewhat psychedelic sound. The third synth solo is a reprise of the second one, but a few notes higher, which kind of make the synth solos form a bit of a crescendo. Plus the outro of the solo is longer. (the exit where it transitions into the rest of the piece is longer, with the double note being repeated)

This is the least ambient of the songs, but its still ambient however and ends the album on a more unique note, and a loud one. The ending is a bit chaotic and loud.

Sirius

In contrast to the eerie Gull, this song begins with what sounds like an organ, but its the same synth I use throughout the song. The song's name is just an acronym for ENO, as in, Brian Eno, who helped pioneer this style of music. Its a more beautiful sound, and isn't eerie. Its like Ethereal Ambience. 

The song could have a theme of a lifeform created with electronics, either through AI, or a being made with electronics, or a fusion of both. Its not a poke at modern society. That would be hypocritical as I spend a lot of time on the computer, and I used it to make this damn song and album.

Electronically Nurtured Organism

Opening and closing with an ambient piano ping, similar to the piano ping on Echoes. This song features a more eerie sound than Ethereal Ambience, with the creepy pings and the echoey calls of seagulls throughout the track. The seagull calls get more echoed and delayed as the song progresses towards the middle, having an effect of the song getting eerier and eerier. 
The seagull cries get less echoey at the end, with the piano pings emerging once more, taking you out of the eerie journey and the piano pings continue alone at the end.

This song may one day feature lyrics that I wrote before I made this song fully, and they don't really fit with the eerie tone of the song. They would've been soaked in reverb. Maybe one day.

I also wanted to include the sounds of waves, but I couldn't manage to get a good sound and so I just settled on a seagull call clip that I recorded onto Audacity, soaked it in reverb and had 3 different versions, with more reverb and echo with each one.

Gull

In stark contrast to the opening song in tone, and even the previous song, this song would open up disc two on vinyl. Like its name suggests, this is a more heavenly sounding song and is more beautiful. This can also capture the wonder of space and the vastness of the cosmos. It could also be a spiritual thing, and can be argued to be the most new age song on the album, as well as my entire discography thusfar.

Like A Cosmological Soundscape, it makes use of the left-right delay pan.

Ethereal Ambience

Following the doomy sound of the opening track, this song has a lighter tone to it, despite having a somewhat similar vibe to it. However, this track captures more of a sense of wonder, rather than the melancholic loneliness that the title track had. 

At 16 minutes exactly, it is the longest song on the album. Makes use of a pad, with reverb, chorus and delay, like all other songs on the album. It has a constant delay pan, left channel and then right channel, which may have an illusion of a constant stereo pan, which may add to the effect.

I'm an Autistic Australian indie artist who likes experimenting, making noise and stuff. My music may not be very good, but I hope it'll get better with time. I am currently 17 years old, and I used to hope to be able to create a musical duo with my boyfriend when we'd finally meet up. Unfortunately, I have lost him and I hope he's in a better place. Regardless, I hope to one day have a successful music career doing the weird stuff I do, because I just love making music, even if its terrible music.
