Okay, now I know what you're thinking: "Two tracks, uploaded to the internet at the same time? And heck, Jon, they're pretty similar too, now that I'm taking a closer listen!" Well my good compadres, the reason for that is these little ditties (in my most humble opinion) take on an ENTIRELY NEW LIFE when played at different speeds! One fast, one slow. Similar, but different. Makes ya think, doesn't it? Here, allow me break it down:

Fast: Think NEED FOR SPEED, cool, crazy, wild. A hot cup of Joe - extra caffeinated, please!

Slow: Relaxing, fun, cool. Take a moment, breathe in the air. Listen to the ambience of papers shuffling, keyboards clacking, a fan in the corner whirring. You're doin' good.

It's the funniest thing - Linda brought in some absolutely DELECTABLE fudge brownie treats that her son whipped up this morning. Now, I don't know what it was about those tasty little morsels, but I can tell you that we were simply hootin' and hollerin' here at the office afterwards. Absolutely wild! And at the same time, we were inspired to make these cool grooves!

My dear friends, please enjoy these carefully crafted compositions that we've concocted. (Ha! How's that for alliteration?) And please, take care of yourself and others throughout this crazy little thing we call LIFE.

Hey there! This is our first track, or "demo," as I suppose we could call it. Linda has bronchitis (darn this weather lately!) so she was not able to provide her lovely vocals, unfortunately. This track is best listened to on Fridays. It's that sort of mood.

Casual Friday - Demo

Hello there, welcome to our band page! We are a fun-loving bunch who have set out to answer the question of whether there is more to life than working day in and day out at the good ol' office. And our answer is this: heck yes! We have all worked together at Hamilton & Frankfurt Co. for quite a while now. In fact, our most senior members have been co-workers for over 19 years! 

I suppose I should tell you about our "cast members." We have the always-stellar Linda from HR who provides vocals and slick bass guitar grooves. Trusty ol' Tom rocks out on the electric guitar - he's a regular Jimmy Page! Our wonderful customer service rep, Cheryl, tickles the ivory keys on her authentic Casio synthesizer. And who could forget about Ignacio? (Or "Iggy," as he likes to be called!) Iggy jams out on the drums. He recently ordered an electronic drum set, I can't remember the brand at the moment, I'll have to ask him during our lunch break. But anywho, we are all looking forward to the new drum kit so we can rock out 21st century-style! Hmm, now where was I? Oh yes, the ever-talented Terry is our producer as she understands how to use the music production computer software and such. She's a regular magician, I tell ya! Oh, I should properly introduce myself as well, I suppose. My name is Jonathon (yes, with an "o" at the end,) and I do my best to move audiences with my vocals and additional synth grooves.

We are a collective of everyday white-collar warriors.

We keep our button-downs clean and our blazers well-pressed.

Except on Fridays when we get real casual.

We speak our minds in as respectful a manner as possible.

We prefer our keyboards to be ergonomic.

We rock as well as we know how.
