Mission
Other Minds, a private not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in San Francisco, is dedicated to the encouragement and propagation of contemporary music in all its forms. Projects include the annual Other Minds Music Festival, Other Minds Records, Other Minds New Music Séance Concerts, “Music From Other Minds” on KALW 91.7-FM, and the History of New Music Preservation Project, making content from the Other Minds Archive available for free on the web at radiOM.org.

The KMUD Local News is broadcast nightly at six, then heard again at eight the following morning. We run our news organization from Redwood Community Radio,  based in Redway, a small town in Southern Humboldt county, CA. Reporting from the heart of the Emerald Triangle, KMUD News covers stories you just won't hear anywhere else. Whether it's breaking updates about natural disasters, or in-depth coverage of environmental justice, criminal investigations, politics, or stories from the community- our reporters are on the ground producing ethics-based journalism at it's finest.
