Track submitted for the Dawesome Sound Ceremony in March 2025.
All sounds, as per rules, had to be sine waves and include the use of Dawesome distortion plugin Hate (https://www.dawesomemusic.com/plugins/hate).
In my case, I generated all sounds from Vital and run them through dedicated Hate channels with various automations in order to recreate somehow the feel of the "Doom Instrument" conceived by Mick Gordon

Although OSC is currently celebrating its 200th anniversary, this track was created for the 198th challenge – a small tribute to the series that nevertheless captures the groove of the anniversary energy.

No external sound sources were used. All sounds are from INI in Rippler X! 

A small but powerful synthesiser that I had a lot of fun with! Excellent support from TILR, who spared no effort in troubleshooting problems and implementing suggestions. I have never seen so many updates during the course of development. And not because things weren't working, but to improve them. Very good support and many thanks again!

Viroo - Enter the Realm of Rippler

This month's synth is the rather interesting RipplerX by tiagolr. Bit of a physical modelling departure from usual. Once again, this effort has nothing to do with the title but probably best to keep fingers and toes inside the car at all times. So, this was assembled from a CPU straining 22 instances of RipplerX in Bitwig Studio 5.3.13. I quite liked the dry sound of this synth but even so, a bit of reverb and delay was applied. The following additional plugins were used:

- dpMeter5, Blue Cat Gain 3 and KClipZero on clip to zero duty
- NI Raum and Valhalla Supermassive for some reverb
- Bitwig Drum Machine
- Bitwig Compressor+
- Bitwig Delay+
- Bitwig EQ+
- TDR Kotelnikov
- TDR Nova

Midi for the percussion was generated with Modalics Beat Scholar while the non-percussion midi was generated with Scaler 3. Most patches were from init with some of the percussion based on the included patches.
