As usual some nice elements musical and sound wise, but somehow this time it doesn't get together in my brain.

I like this - I wish the melody was a little more present - the bass is kind of overwhelming it.

this is very engaging -- really works well with all the parts playing!

There is an exuberance to this that I really like.  It's fun.

Interesting development. Maybe the bass is a little overpowering at times to the detriment of the lead which sounds great, but I have to listen for it behind everything else.

A small but powerful synthesiser that I had a lot of fun with! Excellent support from TILR, who spared no effort in troubleshooting problems and implementing suggestions. I have never seen so many updates during the course of development. And not because things weren't working, but to improve them. Very good support and many thanks again!

This month's synth is the rather interesting RipplerX by tiagolr. Bit of a physical modelling departure from usual. Once again, this effort has nothing to do with the title but probably best to keep fingers and toes inside the car at all times. So, this was assembled from a CPU straining 22 instances of RipplerX in Bitwig Studio 5.3.13. I quite liked the dry sound of this synth but even so, a bit of reverb and delay was applied. The following additional plugins were used:

- dpMeter5, Blue Cat Gain 3 and KClipZero on clip to zero duty
- NI Raum and Valhalla Supermassive for some reverb
- Bitwig Drum Machine
- Bitwig Compressor+
- Bitwig Delay+
- Bitwig EQ+
- TDR Kotelnikov
- TDR Nova

Midi for the percussion was generated with Modalics Beat Scholar while the non-percussion midi was generated with Scaler 3. Most patches were from init with some of the percussion based on the included patches.

My entry for the KVR one synth challenge #199 September 2025. Synth is RipplerX by Tiagolr. I used 6 instances of Rippler; the stock EQ and Bus Compressor on my DAW of choice (Renoise); and was inspired to create a kind of techno/drumnbass/lounge hybrid that I imagine might please Sentient Boiler Philip Jeffries from Twin Peaks The Return.

Here's my entry for the OSC #200 challenge. A few people in our OSC Discord responded enthusiastically when I said I was planning to make a contemporary hippie piece. A promise is a promise. Dr Bob immediately sent me live recordings of his band from the good old days. But with my background, with Zebralette and the OSC rules, I can't quite match that. But don't worry, I've tried to capture the spirit of the Flower Power generation which was great fun.

My concept this month was to use both of my keyboards (I now have 2!) - to their respective strengths.
I used the fully weighted piano controller (Roland FP-10) for very velocity sensitive sounds - like percussion. And I also did fast wild lead breaks with lots of pitch/mod bend (lighter keys and pitch bend on Roland A-70).
