Jenny's wisp of a house had too many lawn ornaments, gnomes and fairies and saints were there against oak trees and crumbling stairs, the dandelions grew in between wind chimes of butterflies hanging from trees, toadstools, duck families, lions and cherubs, many holiday sculptures were there, piled one on top of the other, jolly santas and wicked ones, terrible angels as well as sweet, witches and pumpkins and goblins who laughed, they pressed on the window, their eyes staring back, the many ornaments embarrassed the girl, on rainy days when her mama was still she'd steal an ornament, throw it away, but after the day her mama was gone she wished that she still had every one, she saw that the ornaments meant to protect her like an army like a shield, she cried oh mama I'm sorry for throwing them away they should have stayed they should have stayed oh mama oh mama they should have stayed, she cried oh mama oh mama oh mama I'm sorry for throwing them away your lawn ornaments they should have stayed they should have stayed they should have stayed.

Well, my good friend Paco dropped me a note to say he had a piece of music to which I might like to try and add something, were I so inclined.  Always a good day when that happens.

Now, I can't honestly recall the precise sequence in which the neurons fired inside my skull to yield the result we have here, but we are where we are as they say.

Don't go looking at me for rationale.

Thank you, Paco, as always my friend, for inviting me to come out to play, and for mastering the end result in the midst of untold techno-horror grief.  I hope your DAW world resolves itself very soon.

I lie bewildered, here, in my sphere of cubes,
On crushed silk cushions sprawled.
I sketch the cool Palladian dudes
In charcoal, on Aleutian walls.
They think I know what thoughts are theirs,
And beg to trade their graceless airs, 
But I left them there to climb their stairs
Ever downward through Athenian halls.

They say my knowledge is remiss,
The diabolical's back in town.
Seems ignorance is bliss
For this philosophical clown.
I'm seeking emptiness of mind,

My associate, Plato knows the game

He suffocates but bestows his shame

... when I say "Balkans", I mean music from southeastern Europe :-) and refer to Balkan Beat Box, Balkanesque ... stuff like this. & I can only recommend, check out youtube for Balkan grooves <3 - My concrete Balkan experience was a trip to Split (with my old VW Beetle, without spare wheel); unfortunately I didn't hear a single Balkan brass band, at that time :-D ............................. Enjoy !

Every child starts out in a state of oceanic consciousness, a sea of sensation and emotion with no boundaries at all. They cannot tell themselves from their mother, or any other outside object. The ego is essentially a boundary marker, a delineator of the self from every other thing. The development of the ego over time can be thought of as the sharpening and clarifying of that boundary. As we grow into adulthood, and our ego becomes mature, most people lose the ability to contact the earlier oceanic feeling because they cannot drop the acute feeling of separateness created by the ego. They have lost the sense of oneness with everything and are stuck in their “two-ness,” as it were. Practicing meditation, doing inquiry, and other methods, constitute a path for returning to this original undifferentiated state of the mind, at least for some time.

Oceanic Consciousness

The North Sea was the stage for many violent battles, with lots of human losses. What would an orphan think, standing on the cliffs?

Written in French, of course. No other language offers six different meanings to the sound of "on sent la mer d'ici", all of them relevant to the situation.
