´Oh, hey lad!´ are currently just a bunch of lads, looking for a bunch of laughs. Warren Tivy, Simon Daly and Rob Cooney are 3 full-time Lads, hailing from the deep, deep Eastern part of Cork. Youghal is their hometown.

With an eclectic taste in music, Oh, hey lads´ influences range from the howling Beatboxing Bagpipers to rock n´rollers, Bat Piss. These likeable lads are great, so if you see them, don’t be afraid to buy them a pint.  

 Formed deep in the spiritual parts of the Congo. They spent much of their youths hunting triangular geese with their bare hands, which has undoubtably resonated through Oh, hey lads musical direction.


Liberae Phonocratia is a musical project born from the necessity to get back to the creative process of the “lab”, the workshop, trying to combine different sound languages – expressive heritage of each member of the band – in order to form a think-tank open to the most heterogeneous testing.

This creative urge is innate in each individual as the cornerstone of his/her pursuit of completeness, of self-assertion, of being related to the need to become part of something that will leave a mark in other people’s life, and in his/her life too. The result is a colorful blend of jazz, progressive rock and informal improvisation with undefined outlines, but peculiar and strongly recognizable.

In such a socially complex historical period, culturally arid because of its superficiality, an operation like Liberae Phonocratia aims to prove how – nevertheless – there’s still a spark in human creativity, without any constraints. Liberae Phonocratia will not follow the path of artistic nihilism to quit the music scene; being in such a context won’t preclude a chance of standing out!

That’s why “Presuntrogloland” (the land of presumptuous troglodytes) is born. It is the first album of the trio, a provocative portrait of the reality that this and – luckily – other artistic groups have to face, and of their craving for “being” in this materialistic society.

Silke Berlinn, a proto-punk" vocalist known for her broad-ranging vocal style, “the proto-punk rock Janis Joplin," compared with Ronette's vocalist, Ronnie Spector, Tina Turner.

  She sang in choirs at the age of six, & at fifteen, forbidden to join a band in NYC, she hitchhiked to California. Upon arriving in San Francisco, Berlinn was instantly recruited to sing in well-known blues bands (she, an unusual commodity: a white, East Coast teen who sang blues like James Brown) with local blues legends Hi-Tide Harris; Anthony & Andy Paule; & while working with old-school Oakland favorite, Cool Poppa, was mentored by Charles “Blue Boy” Huff, who, with Sam Cooke, formed "The "Soul Stirrers” 

While working with Cool Poppa, she met guitarist, Robbie McKenzie, who had started a band called Mink deVille, and would recruit childhood friend, Willie Borsey, living in Stamford, CT  at the time, and married to Palm Beach Clothing heiress, Susan “Toots” Berman.  Berlinn & McKenzie moved to NYC with Mink deVille as the band began its legendary ascent.  McKenzie, with numerous warrants for his arrest in NY State, was spooked by the publicity the band had garnered & he & Berlinn fled the state for California where they started a new band, Fast Floyd & the Firebirds. 

After recording her second album, "Bizarre” (backed by Bill Graham and Jerry Pompeli), Berlinn & McKenzie fell out.  McKenzie’s violent temper & growing erratic moods had given Berlinn adequate reason to fear for her life, while she was getting closer to guitar virtuoso Keeth Paul (David Bowie, NY Dolls, Richie Scarlett.) Berlinn soon left McKenzie for original Addictions’ guitarist, Keeth Paul (ne Dailedenas, RIP) 

Berlinn first left San Francisco & moved to Hollywood, but when McKenzie found her, she, artist, Vicki Schrott (RIP), & Jill Hoffman (TARGET Video)flew to New York City with a loan from Jill's father. Shortly afterwards, she was joined by Paul, Brendan Earley (Mutants,) Franko St Andrew (Offs), Steve Berman(Victims) & fashion designer, Joann Berman (no relation), who would go on to become the seminal iteration of “The Addictions.” 

At various times, the band included Jerry Nolan (NY Dolls, Heartbreakers, Teenage Lust); Richie Spinoza; Luigi Scorcia (La Cosa Nostra, Johnny Thunders last band); Steve McKay (Iggy Pop); Ruben Siguenza (Mink deVille); and saxophonist, Manhattan Rob Walsh. 

Berlinn's credits include works & recordings with members of "Blondie" (Frank Infante, Clem Burke;)  "Fountains of Wayne," & "Jesus & Mary Chain" (Brian Young); "The Hooters; " Billy Idol (Matt Lee);  "The Germs" (Don Bolles); The Mutants;  Mink deVille;  FANG (Sam McBride); Screamers (Paul Roessler,) RIkk Agnew (Adolescents, Christian Death,)& Gitane Demone. Rolling Stones engineer, Brad Samuelson, produced Berlinn’s first album, “Bizarre.”  A three-record deal with Don DeVito of Columbia Records, (negotiated by former Blondie manager, Gino Riccardi) Berlinn failed to fulfill after suffering a nervous breakdown in the late eighties.

Berlinn has been linked romantically with Cheetah Chrome (Dead Boys); DeeDee Ramone (Ramones); Jerry Nolan (Heartbreakers, NY Dolls, Teenage Lust); Luigi Scorcia (Johnny Thunders); bluesman, John Hammond, Jr;  Robbie McKenzie (Mink deVille, Fast Floyd, The Offs); Keeth Paul (Bowie, Richie Scarlett, New York Dolls, Teenage Lust.)  Berlinn warns potential suitors:  “...most of the musicians I was involved with are dead."

Silke Berlinn: “Keeth slashed my wrist with a straight-edge razor one night when I said I was depressed, and wanted to die. I was living in San Francisco at the time, in The Mutants’ loft at Bryant & 3rd. Artist, Vicki Schrott, with whom I shared my room, found me at about three in the morning, in a dead sleep, while I was bleeding to death.  She forced me to get up, against my will, then dragged me to San Francisco General where I got 60 stitches. It ended my thoughts of a  guitar-playing career which hadn’t started and which was a relief, because then  I didn’t have to sit around playing guitar chords all day.  I always fall in love with the weirdest people"

You've been making moves in San Francisco, how'd you get into music?

“I started singing when I was around six, mostly in church 
choirs and glee clubs, I left home when I was fifteen because there were problems at home my parents wouldn’t even let me be a cheerleader, let alone a singer in a rock band, so I was outta there. 
I’ve had some unlikely opportunities to work with some pretty famous 
blues guys. I can’t say how much I learned from Charles ‘Blue Boy’ Huff, who was one of Sam Cooke’s original Soul Stirrers, talk about singers, he really taught me a lot about singing. And there were

Congrats on the success of 'Ball &Chain', who are some of your influences?

I was largely raised by a black nanny named Lulu who she played AM radio all day long to the consternation of my mother, I was weaned on black groups, girl groups, gospel because of Lucille. My influences are Tina Turner, Darlene Love, Nico, Velvet Underground, anything by Phil Spector, maybe Grace Slick, she wasn’t necessarily the greatest singer, but she had a lot of style & was ahead of her time. I always thought she was cool as hell. ;I didn’t really listen to many white singers, I couldn’t learn enough from them. A lot of people have compared me to Janis Joplin, whom I never really liked or listened to. Maybe because of the black gospel influence. I didn’t ever like her song selection.

What are some of your proudest moments in music?
Oh I don’t know, I don’t think in those terms. I’ve been lucky, but I’m not very materialistic &probably 
don=92t have the same career goals as a lot of musicians. While I do promote the band’s music, I’m not really comfortable talking about 
myself. I’m just a singer. My ego isn’t all tied up in this. I’ve had several bad stints with heroin addiction, and this affected my values. When I was in my early 20s I got pretty well-known in 
NYC, and I know what a music career brings &doesn’t bring. 
I like to sing, & I probably shouldn’t say this in case Sony’s listening (which they may be) but my dream was always to be an underground cult star, I never wanted to be a Pop Star, my goal was to appeal to other musicians.

What cool stuff is on the horizon for you? 

Just did a duet with Sammy McBride of FANG, and Ron Rancid 
has also expressed interest in&doing a duet with me. Rikk 
Agnew & I will be starting a duet at Paul Roessler’s studio, 
Kitten Robot, in a couple weeks. Paul’s also mixing &
producing my next EP which I did with my band in Oakland. 
Arion Salazar from the original Third Eye Blind was our bass 
player, and when he joined the band, it really started to sing. 
Carl Green, the famous black tenor sax player, is also on the next 
record. I just moved to LA, and things have really exploded since 
I got here, My manager, keyboardist, and great videographer, Mark 
Ludlem, has been shooting video almost non-stop. We covered Social 
Distortion’s Ball &Chain which has almost 60,000 hits 
in less than a month. With Sammy, we did Jackson and 
that’s got over 20,000 hits in a week. LA has been good to me 
thus far. If anyone’s asking, nothin’s happ’nin in the Bay 
Area. Forget it. Dave Jerden had me come down to meet him in 
LA a few months back about producing some songs and he 
said, “Silke, you’re wasting yourself up there. You gotta 
be in LA. It’s the only place in the world to be a musician 
today. Sadly, that’s true. There is no scene in the Bay 
Area.









The Loosehounds were formed in 1995, consisting of band members:

Jon Storey – Lead Guitar.

We the Loosehounds first got together in the early 90s as 3 friends jamming in a commune, simply for no other reason than “it just happened” 
 To this day we still don’t know why?

We were surrounded by many creative and talented people who were in search of respite from the trappings of their jobs, and existence in a materialistic world which obviously gave many no happiness within .
The time at this wonderful environment was spent writing, and playing, and many new experiences which had sowed a seed, which we can never forget. 
This helped inspire a huge range of songs and learned knowledge that highlighted the issues of the world as we now see it. This was a very special creative time for us.

Many heard us playing through the corridors of this amazing happy place, which led to us playing at many parties.
   Followed by invites to play at even more parties and smaller venues, by the end of the year, we had played at Clapham Common Festival, recorded an ep, and finished our first year by being invited to play at Glastonbury Festival.

With this momentum and critical acclaim, we set about recording our first album, 
“Hard to be Human”  in Monmouth  under the watchful eye of Ron Rogers of T’Pau.
 
This album was a mix of eco political love songs that saw many wrongs of the world through our Loosehound eyes.

 After punting a whole load of cassettes to the business, our album was picked up by  “RoughTrade”.

The gigs rolled in, The Borderline, The Swan at Stockwell;, The Mean Fiddler and Edinburgh Fringe, and other top venues .
With this momentum, it was time to record album number 2 .....Takista.

With a slight change in band line-up, a new musical direction evolved.

We were then invited to play at MIDEM at the Cannes Music Festival and more  festival work ensued followed by  many London gigs 

BBC radio legends “Bob Harris” and “Johnnie Walker” took a shine to us, and gave us much airplay on BBC Radio 2 which resulted in national exposure, more work and great reviews in  many music magazines.

With a new bunch of great Musicians and friends joining us, it was time to put down our third album, “Then Suddenly”, with Ron Rogers at the helm once again.

TV appearances followed. Bob Harris and Mark Ellen, presenters of The Old Grey Whistle Test supported us in great style. Then suddenly saw the band evolving towards another musical adventure which still had all our Loosehound traits and originality.



After a long hot summer song writing, playing, and generally having a great time, we now had a bundle of worthwhile material to bring to the table. We were invited to play at the “Acoustic Festival of Britain” and amazingly discovered that these songs could really be rocked up. so with the addition  of Richard Jones, Bruce Drummond, and Jon Storey, it was back to the studio, to record “Privilege of Pleasure” with all of the band returning eagerly to their rock roots. 
It was time to let the beast out!!!

The album was mastered with help from KK Downing (Judas Priest) whose input has been invaluable.

We are currently in rehearsals gearing up for a string of  shows, and heading back into the studio to record our 5th album.


In a generation that emphasizes rather than embrace the age gap, music is probably the last true art form that bridges the "two masses" without being the object of lingering suspicion. Music transcends time zones, continents and cultures, invariably universal in it's appeal. I have always loved music from the 50s to the 90s, whatever the genre. As a young child on vacation, sneaking into my uncle's room to secretly play his prized vinyl collection of rock, soul, pop and blues legends, it left an impressionable mark on me during these "tender years" of mine. My affection for the music of this period has led to my endeavors to gather like minded musicians to play and enjoy songs that have reached "immortal" status within us.

 Farid also wrote the radio friendly hit singles "THE 5Cs" (Later covered by Siva Choy on his "Why You so like that" comedy album , "LOVE YOU AIDA", and also produced the music for the soundtrack of the "Dam Stoopid Video". A poke at the typically materialistic Singapore girl with songs like "Sarong Party Girl" and "Better Hammer This Fella". "GREENTHUMB" was a tune commissioned by the national parks board for their "Skyrise Garden Show" and "CITIZEN OF THE WORLD" won critical praise & top prize at the "LOVE THE EARTH" Band competition.

 Farid's influences include Jose Feliciano, Chuck Berry, Dire Straits, U2, The Beatles, Steve Morse, classic rock acts and above all PAUL SIMON.




We know what you're thinkin'... Organic hip-hop? Right? Well... as with every overly commercialized industry, over the decades the music and entertainment industries have become so over-saturated, and heavily diluted with unauthentic and lackluster (not to mention sub-par) material. All you have to do is turn on your TV and flip to any "major music network" channel for an example of the kind of nonsense we're referring to.

Music used to be different. It was pure, it was cosmic, and it spoke to you on a level that flashy cars, outlandish outrageous lifestyles, and above-the-law mentalities could never amount to. Having been ingrained with such eclectic tastes in music, we're strangers to no genre and have seen it all, even though we're young and our roots are planted in hip-hop. Our influences run the gamut from funk, Motown, and R&B to classic rock, classical and several variations of electronic music and more...

As we all know: genres are now a mention of the past. We are creative visionaries promoting the idea of an all-inclusive, less exclusive celebration of life through creative expression and the arts across all mediums. We draw inspiration from every day life experience, prior/current events, social/economic happenings, nature, positively influential independent entertainment icons and the abstract. We do this as a means to give back to our community and enlighten people! In doing so we provide an artistic and rhythmic commentary complete with lyricism, beat-boxing, and the occasional setup of live instruments, break dancers, belly dancers and so on and so forth. We're nothing new to the San Diego entertainment scene, but at the same time we haven't exactly made a huge name for ourselves either.

In the early stages of our music and art collective/movement known as the Illestrated Visionary Crew (or iLL v.C.) we opened up for the likes of Devin the Dude, Luckyiam of The Living Legends, AWOL One, and numerous other artists, as well as headlining and promoting our own full-scale productions featuring 4 DJs, 2MCs, break-dancers, pantomiming, live artists/painters and visual arts displays via projector and a cutting edge mixer with an internal bpm monitor.

Present day's setup consists of super-duper-human and monster music producer AND mind-splittin', hard-hittin' emcee known as J. Phatts; the ever-so-charismatic and cunning linguistic craftsman by the name of Burns One; and the beastly beat-box bot and lyrical lip-service delivery system by the name of Burns Two - all of which are backed by none other than the beat droppin', hip-hoppin' wizard on the wheels of steel known as Blackbelt Jonez! This current installation has proven to be a gorilla-glued cohesive creatively constructed effort and we're quickly carving our mark into the local entertainment scene! We've been collaborating with some of today's hottest local artists, musicians, and entertainers in the last year and are gaining quite a level of notoriety among the town! Be on the the lookout for the Voltron~esque creative super-group known as "¡The Bassmint Collective!"

Pressing forward; We're actively producing and looking forward to creating newer, larger scale versions of the productions and experiences of our formerly capable magnitude, several of which will be cause-based. We're not in it for the fame, we're not in it for the money... It breaks down like this: We are all intricate installations in the same magnificent creative energy and we're in it to promote a message of cultivating community and overall prosperity through peace, positivity, self-expression and sharing We're not going to go on about how we dynamically set ourselves apart from everything that's out there, as we'll let our audio/visual experiences speak for themselves...We aim to revive and reconnect the people with the dormant energy that is the human element by stimulating minds through our performances and events. Once upon a time creative expression used to be about more than just the enormous paycheck at the end of the day, bragging rights and all the materialistic facets of life. We're aiming to keep that idea alive. We've been bringing people together at our shows to celebrate life and develop social consciousness for the last eight years, and no matter what happens or where we end up, we'll forever remain true to the people, ourselves, and our movement...

The journey of two young men all began in the early summer of 2011 in Worcester, Massachusetts when they were brought together by their talents and passion. Years prior to starting New Image, Mark Cusson met Jordan Richardson through mutual friends. Not knowing that one day they would invest a majority of their free time to making music together they became close friends. While Mark Cusson otherwise known as Kid Emcee focuses on writing his own music he also puts much time and effort into finding resources, picking out the next project, and promoting the groups music. Jordan Richardson otherwise known as Wavy also writes his own music as well as being the man behind the scenes who engineers the music they create. Both coming from backgrounds of poverty and hardships this duo found comfort in making music. The reason they strive to make it famous isn't for the money, women, or anything materialistic that comes along with it. Their main goal is to make it in life doing something they love to do and rather than being like most artists they hope they can make an impact through their music. From being influenced by numereous genres and artists like Eminem, Boyz 2 Men, Van Halen, Modestep, and other various artists this duo has a lot of musical knownledge and is still in the process of learning. From other members dropping the group to making new advances in life this music group will never give up the dream and the detemination to make music that makes an impact.

Francesco Grant and Sasha Carassi have collaborated to releases with some great arstis like Mark Broom and Francisco Allendes.Francesco soon meets Thomas P. Heckmann.Francesco loves to work with Thomas,especially for the big professionality. He sees in him the great originality of thought and freedom concept music.Francesco decides to give birth to Toolman, his own invention to create music with minimal sounds. The success is Shortly , "GOLD BUNNY" remains 1# for 6 months int he Beatport minimal chart . "Gold Bunny" was nominated for "Beatport Music Awards" Best Minimal Track 2010. Enter in important charts, Riva Starr, Tim Xavier, Pig Dan ,Rino Cerrone, and many others. Resopal Schallware with "Ichar Wings" in 2010, a great release. Then with Mihalis Safras on Trapez Ltd comes with "materialistic.Francesco in June 2012 makes its debut on Terminal M, Monika Kruse's label ,in the collaboration with Minicoolboyz. Now he is supported by :Richie Hawtin , Paco Osuna, Alexi Delano,Riva Starr and many more! Francesco still has many surprises for us :).
