I WAS A PRETTY GOOD KID GROWING UP, LOVED TO DRAW, LOVED MUSIC, SOMEHOW IN 4TH GRADE I STARTED HAVING AN INTEREST IN WANTING TO BE A BOY...EVEN STARTED LIKING GIRLS. THE MORE I TRIED THE MORE ID GET MADE FUN OF ..IN MIDDLE SCHOOL I BEGAN TO HAVE A WEIGHT PROBLEM...I BEGAN TO GET DEPRESSED, WAS ASHAMED OF MY BODY , WAS ASHAMED OF BEING A GIRL PERIOD. SO I WOULD SPEND MY WHOLE SUMMER IN THE HOUSE PLAYING VIDEO GAMES. EATING LARGE PIZZAS ...WAS 250LBS, BY THAT TIME MY SISTER((LATICIA SHANTEL STINNETT)) GOT SICK WITH AN ENLARGED HEART.. THIS WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL...SHE PASSED AWAY IN DEC.11.2000..I CURSED GOD AND TURNED COMPLETELY AWAY., GOT INTO HEAVY METAL DRUGS, EVEN WITCHCRAFT..BY AGE 19 ONE DAY I OVERDOSE , AND HAD A NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE ((ALMOST DIED)) BY AGE 21 I BEGAN TO DRINK..I MET A GUY NAME TJ ..AND HERE COMES MORE DRINKING..ONE NIGHT I PASSED OUT ON THE BATHROOM FLOOR AND HE CAME RIGHT IN..I GOT PREGNANT, I DENIED IT BECAUSE OF WHO I THOUGHT I WAS AND WAS SOPPOSE TO BE..SHE WAS A LITTLE HEALTHY BABY GIRL..IT WAS THE FIRST TIME I SAW ((GOD)) ..IT WAS A MIRACLE..ON AND ON I STILL WAS DRINKING..DRUGS GOT WORST..CAUSE I WAS SO ASHAMED AT ALL THAT HAD HAPPEND TO ME..MET UP WITH SOME WRONG CROWDS..THE LAST STRAW CAME IN FEBRUARY 7 2014 (( MY BIRTHDAY)) I WINDED UP MOVING TO HEFLIN ALABAMA WITH SOME PEOPLE I THOUGHT WERE MY FRIENDS..I LEFT MY DAUGHTER ..AND I HATED IT..I WENT ON A DRINKING BINGE ONE NIGHT AND TORE UP THINGS , WHEN I GOT UP THE NEXT MORNING THEY WHERE CALLING ((THE CENTER OF HOPE)) THEY THREATENED TO KICK ME OUT OR A WOMEN'S SHELTER...WHEN I HEARD THE WORD ((HOPE)) IT SPOKE TO ME IN A MIGHT WAY...I WENT THERE AND STAYED FOR A YEAR AND A HALF((GRADUATED)) ..I GOT SAVED BY(( JESUS CHRIST)) THERE..ITS JUST SO AMAZING NOW ...IM SO AT PEACE, WITH FREEDOM AND JOY..AND LOVE...BEEN CLEAN FOR 1 YEAR AND A HALF MAYBE EVEN MORE...I DONT FOLLOW THE DESIRES OF MY FLESH ((SEXUAL IMMORALITY...JESUS HAS TRULY BLESSED MY LIFE BEYOND MEASURE..AFTER ALL THE THINGS I DID AND THE WAY I LIVED ((HE STILL LOVED ME)) THE SAME THING HE'S DONE FOR ME HE CAN DO FOR YOU AND ANYONE IN THIS WORLD ..YOU JUST GOTTA LET HIM IN YOUR HEART..2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 ..THEREFORE, IF ANYONE IS IN CHRIST, THE NEW CREATION HAS COME: THE OLD HAS GONE, THE NEW IS HERE!

I'm a Manchester soul girl living for the last 17 years in the Big Smoke. I've collected vinyl since I started getting my spends at 9. I'm not ashamed to say I'm a little obsessed.  First love is Soul Music  but I have plenty love left for Disco, Funk, Gospel, Jazz, Blues, Hip Hop, Rare Groove, House, Latin and whatever else makes my heart sing. I've done some Dj'ing on the Rare Soul Scene in the UK, Europe and the USA and for 3 years promoted my own Soul night "Masters Of Soul" with a couple of mates. Been on the radio a couple of times as a guest on NTS. I love being on either side of the decks ... equally happy busting moves on the dance floor  or placing records on the platters!  I'm just happy to be immersed in the music and the moment.

The Old Boys' Challenges music project was created in Moscow, Russia as an example and exspression of another revival of the classic rock guitar music which is happening now in the world. Despite the fact that once in a while (actually it has happened quite a few times) this kind of music becomes old-fashioned and uncool (hence the ironic name of this record), somehow it always happen to retain its urgency and always tends to find its devout audience again and again.
Performed in a modern way, classic rock does not necessarily have to align itself with such trifle cliches as “old school” or “old long-haired fellows”. The main idea at the core of this project is to be guided by the noble traditions of classic and garage rock. Above all the “Old Boys” are striving to lean on the quality of their songs.
Genuine rock music never dies – and this project is another solid evidence of that.

First of all, “Old Boys' Challengers” came into being thanks to the efforts from the part of one man, who had been working hard for a long time, writing and recording songs for this EP. This man is a Moscow-based guitar player, composer and arranger named Oleg Dondysh. He has come up with the general idea for this project and composed the music. Another man, an old friend of Oleg's called Tim Ehorovets, provided the lyrics. There are three lead singers on this record – David Todois, Eugeniy Sokolovsky and Andrey “Andy Vortex” Lobashev. Mikhail Kozodaev plays the drums.

Actually the songs on this EP is only a small portion of the songs which have been composed and written these last two years. Being a true control freak and a perfectionist, Oleg Dondysh had to make some ruthless choices and came up with the only suitable tracks for the debut record. But of course the next aim is making of the follow up album!

Sure enough, the name of this project (and the title of the record) “Old Boys' Challenges” is quite ironic. Strictly speaking, this is not a traditional rock band with a steady line up. Rather, this is the individual art project consisting of like minded associates. These gentlemen just want to play music which is never boring to perform and listen to. And they are not at all ashamed to show the nostalgic emotions.
Anyway the main challenge was to use gold old forms (much loved by so many rock and roll fans) as a vehicle for some new and fresh content, without any artifice or imitation. “No vacant mind here, only the deep soul”. The real rock and roll, honestly performed and recorded, was the ultimate goal.

May the old boys never be afraid of the new challenges!

Moved by the pleasure of collecting records, grew up in flatbread and punk, gained by attending and listening situations "Alternative" .It evolves so by 'listening to old records at home, put on a little records in different situations and local in their city. The favorite genres ranging from disco of the 70s and 80s to the deep house of 'last decade, postponing still fond of the old groups collected vinyl, and is not ashamed to go to concerts.

   “I don’t ride beats, I am the rhythm” serves as the premise for the unorthodox musical style of Eli Martin III a.k.a The Clinician. Using a combination of rap and spoken word cadences to the tune of funky alternative and vintage hip hop beats, a new genre of music was born. The Clinician coined this genre as Hip Poetry. Martin got his stage name (The Clinician) from his current pursuit of his MA in Community Mental Health Counseling. When you think of a physician, you think of someone who heals the flesh or the overall humanistic construct, but a clinician heals the mental state of being. “In a sense you can say when people listen to my art form, they are getting a session of music therapy to heal their subliminal wounds,” said Martin. Known for his extensive vocabulary and off beat cadence, The Clinician has often been labeled as a conscious artist or an indie performer. “I’m whatever I need to be to the audience whether it’s The Clinician, a teacher, a mentor, a change catalyst or an advocate as long as the overall message gets across. I do still believe in our generation,” said Martin. “I remember starting off writing and performing Spoken Word at this spot called the Wine Up in Charlotte and the rush I felt every time I got up on stage was uncanny. I remember people telling me I should do something with my poetry, but I was still unsure of myself,” said Martin. It wasn’t until he moved to Atlanta, GA that he realized that he could try to run away from the music but the music could never run away from him. “My music was used as an outlet for dealing with stress, but eventually it became a passion and a pursuit for creativity,” said Martin. As a result a hunger and desire was built within Martin to share his gift with the masses. “I remember a wise man telling me if I don’t use my gifts I will lose my gifts and that has resonated within me ever since and my father [Eli Martin Jr.] would always tell me to strive for greatness at whatever you pursue in life,” said Martin.Born in the small town of Lumberton, NC Martin knew he was destined for greater things and so he pursued an academic career at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he got his BA in Psychology and a Minor in Journalism. “I am not ashamed of where I came from, but I would like to see the L [Lumberton] flourish into something more positive for the youth in terms of having more activities for them to do,” said Martin. As a result of this dire need for a youth outlet, Martin’s mother Cynthia Martin has started an organization called Achievers to give the youth opportunities to excel in their academia as well as gain exposure through travel. Last year her group linked up with the Tavis Smiley Foundation and got to attend a Youth to Leader Conference at UCLA. Currently, Martin is continuing this foundation at his current residence in Atlanta, GA.
 
           Today, Martin is currently on track to graduate with his Masters at Clark Atlanta University in December 2012. The Clinician came out with his first album “The Diagnosis” to critical acclaim last year as evidenced by Mandatory Business (a previous interviewer) who gave it raving reviews. He is currently wrapping up his second project, which will be titled “The Quest” and is also coming out with a collaborative EP with fellow friend and artist Asia Soulè slated to be released by the end of the year. Along with Soulè and Cool Kash they form the alternative group of Higher Learning. The Clinician is also working on a rock album with his band known as Contraband slated to be released next year. “I would like to give personal thanks to Blach Collar Entertainment for doing excellent photography work and to Black College Today for allowing me to be a part of its legacy. John 3:3-7

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.


Christ's discourse with Nicodemus.

Nicodemus was afraid, or ashamed to be seen with Christ, therefore came in the night. When religion is out of fashion, there are many Nicodemites. But though he came by night, Jesus bid him welcome, and hereby taught us to encourage good beginnings, although weak. And though now he came by night, yet afterward he owned Christ publicly. He did not talk with Christ about state affairs, though he was a ruler, but about the concerns of his own soul and its salvation, and went at once to them.

Our Saviour spoke of the necessity and nature of regeneration or the new birth, and at once directed Nicodemus to the source of holiness of the heart. Birth is the beginning of life; to be born again, is to begin to live anew, as those who have lived much amiss, or to little purpose. We must have a new nature, new principles, new affections, new aims. By our first birth we were corrupt, shapen in sin; therefore we must be made new creatures. No stronger expression could have been chosen to signify a great and most remarkable change of state and character.

We must be entirely different from what we were before, as that which begins to be at any time, is not, and cannot be the same with that which was before. This new birth is from heaven, ch. 1:13, and its tendency is to heaven. It is a great change made in the heart of a sinner, by the power of the Holy Spirit. It means that something is done in us, and for us, which we cannot do for ourselves.

Something is wrong, whereby such a life begins as shall last for ever. We cannot otherwise expect any benefit by Christ; it is necessary to our happiness here and hereafter. What Christ speak, Nicodemus misunderstood, as if there had been no other way of regenerating and new-moulding an immortal soul, than by new-framing the body. But he acknowledged his ignorance, which shows a desire to be better informed. It is then further explained by the Lord Jesus. He shows the Author of this
blessed change.

It is not wrought by any wisdom or power of our own, but by the power of the blessed Spirit. We are shapen in iniquity, which makes it necessary that our nature be changed. We are not to marvel at this; for, when we consider the holiness of God, the depravity of our nature, and the happiness set before us, we shall not think it strange that so much stress is laid upon this. The regenerating work of the Holy Spirit is compared to water. It is also probable that Christ had reference to the ordinance of baptism.

Not that all those, and those only, that are baptized, are saved; but without that new birth which is wrought by the Spirit, and signified by baptism, none shall be subjects of the kingdom of heaven. The same word signifies both the wind and the Spirit. The wind bloweth where it listeth for us; God directs it. The Spirit sends his influences where, and when, on whom, and in what measure and degree, he pleases. Though the causes are hidden, the effects are
plain, when the soul is brought to mourn for sin, and to breathe after Christ.

Christ's stating of the doctrine and the necessity of regeneration, it should seem, made it not clearer to Nicodemus. Thus the things of the Spirit of God are foolishness to the natural man. Many think that cannot be proved, which they cannot believe. Christ's discourse of gospel truths, ver. #(11 to 13), shows the folly of those who make these things strange unto them; and it recommends us to search them out. Jesus Christ is every way able to reveal the will of God to us; for he came down from heaven, and yet is in heaven. We have here a notice of Christ's two distinct natures in one person, so that while he is the Son of man, yet he is in heaven. God is the HE THAT IS, and heaven is the dwelling-place of his holiness. The knowledge of this must be from above, and can be received by faith alone. Jesus Christ came to save us by healing us, as the children of
Israel, stung with fiery serpents, were cured and lived by looking up to the brazen serpent, Nu 21:6 to 9. In this observe the deadly and destructive nature of sin. Ask awakened consciences, ask damned sinners, they will tell you, that how charming soever the allurements of sin may be, at the last it bites like a serpent. See the powerful remedy against this fatal malady. Christ is plainly set forth to us in the gospel.

He whom we offended is our Peace, and the way of applying for a cure is by believing. If any so far slight either their disease by sin, or the method of cure by Christ, as not to receive Christ upon his own terms, their ruin is upon their own heads. He has said, Look and be saved, look and live; lift up the eyes of your faith to Christ crucified. And until we have grace to do this, we shall not be cured, but still are wounded with the stings of Satan, and in a dying state. Jesus Christ came to save us by pardoning us, that we might not die by the sentence of the law. Here is gospel, good news indeed. Here is God's love in giving his Son for the world. God so loved the world; so really, so richly. Behold and wonder, that the great God should love such a worthless world! Here, also, is the great gospel duty, to believe in Jesus Christ. God having given him to be our Prophet, Priest, and King, we must give up ourselves to be ruled, and taught, and saved by him. And here is the great gospel benefit, that whoever believes in Christ, shall not perish, but shall have everlasting life.

God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, and so saving it. It could not be saved, but through him; there is no salvation in any other. From all this is shown the happiness of true believers; he that believeth in Christ is not condemned. Though he has been a great sinner, yet he is not dealt with according to what his sins deserve. How great is the sin of unbelievers! God sent One to save us, that was dearest to himself; and shall he not be dearest to us? How great is the misery of unbelievers! they are condemned already; which speaks a certain condemnation; a present condemnation. The wrath of God now fastens upon them; and their own hearts condemn them. There is also a condemnation grounded on their former guilt; they are open to the law for all their sins; because they are not by faith interested in the gospel pardon. Unbelief is a sin against the remedy. It springs from the enmity of the heart of man to God, from love of sin in some form. Read also the doom of those that would not know Christ. Sinful works are works of darkness. The wicked world keep as far from this light as they can, lest their deeds should be reproved. Christ is hated, because sin is loved. If they had not hated saving knowledge, they would not sit down contentedly in condemning ignorance. On the other hand, renewed hearts bid this light welcome. A good man acts truly and sincerely in all he does. He desires to know what the will of God is, and to do it, though against his own worldly interest. A change in his whole character and conduct has taken place.

The love of God is shed abroad in his heart by the Holy Ghost, and is become the commanding principle of his actions. So long as he continues under a load of unforgiven guilt, there can be little else than slavish fear of God; but when his doubts are done away, when he sees the righteous ground whereon this forgiveness is built, he rests on it as his own,
and is united to God by unfeigned love. Our works are good when the will of God is the rule of them, and the glory of God the end of them; when they are done in his strength, and for his sake; to him, and not to men. Regeneration, or the new birth, is a subject to which the world is very averse; it is, however, the grand concern, in comparison with which every thing else is but trifling. What does it signify though we have food to eat in plenty, and variety of raiment to put on, if we are not born again? if after a few mornings and evenings spent in unthinking mirth, carnal pleasure, and riot, we die in our sins, and lie down in sorrow?

What does it signify though we are well able to act our parts in life, in every other respect, if at last we hear from the Supreme Judge, Depart from me, I know you not, ye workers of iniquity?

I’m a little, I have depression, I’m bi, I’ve dated the same guy for the past year now 🥰🥰🥰 I’m suicidal and I’ve been sent to a mental hospital last year. 

I’m not ashamed of my past, it makes me who I am. And I’ve learned to love me just as I am, my boyfriend helped me realize that.

I have absolutely no talent. I mooch and steal from everyone including the government. I often sit around wondering how i screwed my life up so hard, I got a fat girlfriend I hate, and a terrible kid that will grow up to be just like me... which is mostly and arrogant rat with little to no intelligence. My parents might be siblings and I was molested as a child. I secretly want my father to put his jolly inside of me like it was when i was a kid, but i can't my father is dead. ;( Nobody compares to daddy not even the stupid b i live with. My birth certificate is an apology from the condom factory. I have a really small penis and I'm ashamed of it. I think sometimes i stay with my fat girlfriend is because i feel so embarrassed and intimidated by everyone. I mean, it's really small, we are talking like 3 inches. Im pretty much living proof that you can survive without a brain and a penis. I honestly don't know what to do, ill probably end up trying to get my penis enlarged because i can't satisfy any man or woman. Generally I only last three minutes and no one is happy. Send me an invite if you like twinks with hipster mustaches. I really have to satisfy my daddy urge but i can't guarantee that you are going to feel any pleasure. Im bad company when I'm alone.
