Not3 - When I Wasn't, I Might Be.

Electronic musician, writer, image maker (see Instagram) and university educator.

In Jan 2022 armed with Ableton Live and a midi keyboard, I taught myself to write music. 

I have released some outcomes of a surprising creative journey.

My music explores the music of natural sounds and the fusion of musical tools from different traditions (western orchestral, electronic, ambient and pop).

As a life long writer of poetry and former winner of the Manchester Poetry Festival commission for Poetry to the Theatre,  I continue to work at integrating text with music and soundscapes. I have completed some initial explorations including, Pinging The Mast and Only For A Moment.

I am looking for a community of artists and an audience interested in similar ideas. As an experienced theatre maker (with credits for writing and directing) I would be happy to collaborate on soundscapes and soundtracks for Film, TV, theatre and dance.
