Part 1 is comprised mostly of "BelTek Classics", selections anyone who has attended BelTek since the beginning would recognize.

Spinning the Final Set at BelTek was a great feeling for me having been one of the Original Closers for the first few years. It's a very challenging time slot for many reasons; but it was important for me to pay homage to this long running event and its family members. It would be a challenge to appeal to what is now a mix of Old School BetTek heads and the newer generations with all the "changes" in music since.

I wanted that appropriate chill "Sunrise" feeling, but not put people to sleep. It would be even more challenging to still be "exciting" to a very exhausted crowd who had heard everything for the past two days. I wanted to give a nod to those who remember by playing some selections from past years at BelTek, but also play plenty of brand new material as not to forget the pioneering spirit of days past. It also had meaning to me as a Producer being able to play my Original Work for the first time at BelTek, giving an example of how far we've all come since it first started.

Hope those who were there will recall the feeling when they pop this on. To those who weren't there, nothing will replace being there live; but hopefully you can put this on a good sound system, close your eyes and imagine.
