This is one of the dungeon tracks of the previous unreleased game Anthador.
While I was composing, I imagined a "lament" (passionate expression of grief in music form) that is sung to the people who lost their life in the dungeon.

Lament for the Lost

This track was a "happy accident". 
The real main theme was already composed and as I noodled around on the piano and stumpled upon this slow ostinato. It was soothing but also inspiring, like a canvas that wanted to be painted.
So I layered the main theme melody on top of it and it was a perfect match! Although this track wasn't originally planned it just had to be added to the soundtrack.

I tried to convey a mixture of two feelings: the enthusiastic mood of leaving home to explore the world and it's opportunities as well as the pain of parting.

Farewell from Home

Its mellow and meloncholic mood made me think of a foggy landscape - like a mountain pass veiled in clouds.

Veiled in Clouds

This is one of the open world tracks of the previous unreleased game Anthador. While composing it I had a rough but beautiful shoreline in mind - sometimes calm and peaceful and sometimes wild with waves clashing against the rocks.
As a musician the guitar is my first instrument. So I was curious how a live recorded guitar would blend into an orchestral composition made of virtual instruments. I'm quite pleased with the results.

This august I had a fantastic holiday in Denmark. I was able to get some nice drone shots of the beach and I wanted the soundtrack to transport the relaxed and calm feeling which me and my family had at this place.

Coast Of Årgab

This is one of the battle tracks of the yet unreleased game Anthador.
After I had finished the first attempt of this composition there was something missing. A lack of energy, character and vitality. So I decided to rework the composition and add another instrument that I'm quite familiar with from the past years as a singer-songwriter and frontman of my band: my voice.

Point Of No Return

This is one of the battle tracks of the yet unreleased game Anthador.
While composing I pictured a castle under siege with constant waves of attackers that need to be warded off.
For this extremly stressful scenario I tried to create a frantic mood and a strong sense of urgency.

The blood is rushing in your ears, your body is full of adrenaline. The breach is already nearby. What will expect you on the other side of the wall? Doesn't matter!

Rushing In

Last black friday I decided to extend my string libraries and bought CSS and CSSS. In order to really work my way into this libraries, get to know their strengths and weaknesses and to learn how to properly use it, I wrote this piece called "Sehnsucht" (German for "longing").
It took me quite a while to get the arrangement and sound right but here it is! :-D
