Loved the intervals used at the beginning, and then this wonderful explosion follows. Just before the three minute mark I caught the mellotron. Explosion to the finale. One of my favorites of your music, for sure!

You call that serenity around the head, I call it fireworks magic. I knew the fires were because of all of the parties, as they sour. And everyone was happy. WAS. ...

A true gem of musical expression. Excellent musicianship, production, mixing, and an overall audio delight!

Buccmaster and his friends visit a village untouched by the Norman invasion. They participate in a village celebration, which Buccmaster looks back on as the very last joyful day. Even so, everyone there fears for the future.

I used my Flamenco guitar again... but economically, my early versions were too Iberian!

This is actually the first track I recorded by myself since early 4-track recordings decades ago. Recorded at the start of lockdown on an iPad before I discovered Ableton; cleaned up in 2023 for a new airing. Always saw it as a sonic future-scape that is a little rough around the edges but worth sharing again.

I'm a solo artist with a passion for progressive rock. My influences include Pink Floyd, Yes,  Gentle Giant, King Crimson, PFM, Genesis, ELP, Porcupine Tree, Happy the Man, Camel, Opeth, Phillip Glass, Jethro Tull, Carl Stalling, Laurie Anderson, Moody Blues and on and on. I play guitars, vocals and a wide variety of software synthesizers and virtual instruments.
