You Cannot Erase the US is a song about the erased history of America—the genocide of Indigenous people, the brutality of slavery, the exploitation of poor immigrants during the industrial revolution, and the way the wealthy still drain the lifeblood of the working class today.

They tell us to forget. They rewrite the narrative, silence the voices, strip away rights, and pretend that the suffering on which this nation was built never happened. But the truth cannot be buried.

The roads were paved by those they try to erase. The factories, the fields, the railroads, the wealth—it was never theirs to claim. And now, as the rich hoard power and turn the poor against each other, the same cycle continues.

This song is a reckoning. A call to remember. A call to fight back.

We are the people that built this nation. We are the ones they still bleed dry. We are the ones who dream the American dream. And we will not be erased.

This song intentionally mirrors the song You Cannot Erase US as a reminder to all that denying one group human rights affects all of us, and has been an unfortunate theme in American history.
