I have been listening to Breakdance music since it's inception, and have been listening to all the genre's it's created along the way. First heard in the skating rinks after school as a LatchKey kid, you could always find me near the DJ booth. My brother and I would find out what tracks they were playing, and have to take two buses to get to a record store. Back then the Hip Hop section literally had less than five records, it was so new. 

I hope you enjoy this track. It is a very LIVELY mix. Listen for the sports car driver gear shifting on the beat of the song, with turbo blow off valve of course! Listeners can enjoy the sounds of the impending collision as you can hear the truck travel across the stereo field before impact. As my tribute to the famous Ollie and Jerry track, I literally sprinkled "Red Light Doesn't Matter" over the "..there is No Stopping" section. A little old school magic dust if you will... Also, "DJ's Trickery Spins the Wax with Ease" travels around your head in the stereo field (most noticeable with headphones), some DJ trickery indeed!

All beats were created on my Roland MC 808. Keyboards sounds are from a Novation AFX Bass station. Vocoding was created using an Alesis Metavox modulating my voice with the AFX Bass Station.

Spanish producer Hor-G joins the label with “El Guerrero”, a showcase of his skill in the realm of broken rhythms and sonic experimentation.

After releasing several works rooted in a more techno-oriented line, Hor-G now delves into his less orthodox ideas, displaying a sharp talent for hybridizing styles. Electro, halftime, and acid influences merge to create a piece rich in texture, distortion, and energy, moving fluidly between 145 and 185 bpm.

As the artist himself puts it: “El Guerrero” is far more than a demo — it’s a statement of intent from the ever-restless HOR-G.
