I have been listening to Breakdance music since it's inception, and have been listening to all the genre's it's created along the way. First heard in the skating rinks after school as a LatchKey kid, you could always find me near the DJ booth. My brother and I would find out what tracks they were playing, and have to take two buses to get to a record store. Back then the Hip Hop section literally had less than five records, it was so new. 

I hope you enjoy this track. It is a very LIVELY mix. Listen for the sports car driver gear shifting on the beat of the song, with turbo blow off valve of course! Listeners can enjoy the sounds of the impending collision as you can hear the truck travel across the stereo field before impact. As my tribute to the famous Ollie and Jerry track, I literally sprinkled "Red Light Doesn't Matter" over the "..there is No Stopping" section. A little old school magic dust if you will... Also, "DJ's Trickery Spins the Wax with Ease" travels around your head in the stereo field (most noticeable with headphones), some DJ trickery indeed!

All beats were created on my Roland MC 808. Keyboards sounds are from a Novation AFX Bass station. Vocoding was created using an Alesis Metavox modulating my voice with the AFX Bass Station.

I have from day one  “ in the beginning , when house was house “ been connected deeply to the sounds of EDM . My first introduction to this music was MARS “ Rabbit N The Moon . First time I ate a “bean” I was so scared about what was to come as I like to have control 😂😂 I left on my own over the cocoa bridge !  Amazing ! The one thing or rather sound I’ll never forget was the “beat(s) the newness of this spectacular new sound that made sense in my head . I could hear every beat , when the next mix met !  I got so obsessed with paying attention to when the next mix would come in , maybe I forgot how to connect because that was my focus  it drove me . And when I nailed it ( or at least I felt like I did 😂😂 in my own complicated mind) I moved on to the next mix to the next - mind you I still do this and always have pipe dreams of learning and being taught the schematics of mixing  but alas I bought the DJPioneer 2100  and I realized I might be missing a key element ,  fear  or thinking that my love for how I listen to it or go into my own space bubble would take the LOVE I have for this music and the feeling , love and joy would be gone .  I believe it is the latter ! I am no DJ - there’s more to it thank two  Amazon bought mixing board and a USB with 1700 tracks on it that makes a DJ . I have MAD respect for the ones that have that EAR that total BEAT in their hearts to share this music with us !! Thank you ❤️
