I have been interested in music since a young age, first recognizing harmony on the piano.  I then took up guitar in 6th grade, and joined every jazz band and every concert band I ran across; this convinced me to study jazz in high school, and then in college.  I studied guitar in many formats; jazz, blues, and improvisation, but always loved just jamming songs from my favorite rock bands with musician friends.  I ended up taking a popular songwriting course, and my career as a composer took off.  

The style of my music cannot fit into just one genre; I have been following music of all different types throughout my journey.  I love electronics, and have always been fascinated by effects and “stomp-boxes”.  I first fell in love with the distortion and flanger effects; these were the only two effects that my favorite guitarist, Kurt Cobain (from Nirvana), used during his career.  

I then got an effect processor for my birthday, and was introduced to such effects as the “ring modulator”, “humanizer”, and “guitar synth”.  These effects took me to fall in love with the guitar sounds from bands like Korn, Limp Bizkit, and Tool. 

  I love to improvise, and really like feeding off of other instrumentations.  

I want people who are fans to identify with the essence of truth in music.  We as musicians are artists of sound; our paintbrushes are our instruments, and the stage our canvas.  We feel that people should acknowledge the art, and that they should support the artist “mentality” as something sacred.
