This piece was composed for a group called Duo 46 + one. The duo was a natural combination of violin and guitar. Have their newest member adding the piano to the ensemble inspired some interesting combinations of sounds, rhythms and interplay among the instruments. As always, elements of jazz appear because of composer Diana Mascari's background as a jazz pianist.
