This composition combines saxophone quartet with the pipe organ. Both types of instruments require air to produce the sound. The combination and juxtaposition of the quartet and the organ work as a homogeneous sound source. This piece was commissioned by the Third Rail Saxophone Quartet (who are members of the US Marine Band) and was premiered in Washington, DC. in 2003.
