In the second part of Troma & PERS1's Astro series, the duo showcase a deeper hypnotic side to their productions wherein encompassing pads take the forefront while delicate acid lines establish a celestial ambiance. 

Floating in the depths of space, Astral Void is an ethereal incantation conjuring up images of cosmic dust as it fills the emptiness; a veil of paralyzing blissfulness. 

Chasm then entices into an orphaned rogue planet, swallowing into the gravitational pull and accelerating down to the terrestrial sphere. But the tumbling doesn't stop at the surface; a gaping cleft extends the descent, plunging deeper towards the planetoid's scorching core.

Following a well received string of releases on ‘Analogical Force’, ‘Furthur Electronix’ and ‘Feel My Bicep’ James Shinra makes his debut release on 20/20 Vision. Shinra displays his musical dexterity and diverse influences across this 4 track EP delving deeper into the realms of electro and techno 

’Route 909’ serves up emotive melodies rooted down with a heavy kick before working the keys hard to maximum effect. ‘Flyby’ is a beautiful moment of electronic bliss reminiscent of the great Aphex Twin, while the acid soaked ’1111’ is a certified dance floor bomb. Shinra isn’t adverse to switching tempos and beats and can also deliver flawless techno. The cleverly structured and melodically complex ‘On & On’ rounds up the wax with a track that makes you want to drift away on the dance-floor, prepare to be transported to a future world where machines have emotions.

Three years after the original's release, new life is given to 747's widely acclaimed neoclassic acid anthem, Aurora Centralis. The uplifting track, characterized by its iconic singing 303, is revisited by four masterful artists: Schacke, Tin Man, nthng and Primal Code, each bringing a unique take. 

Opening the release, Schacke delivers a fast and euphoric revamp with an infectious groove and floaty atmosphere, while modern acid legend, Tin Man, executes a flawless take embellished with lush pads and deft 303 work. 

Introducing the B side, nthng's vehement rendition is fierce and ethereal in a way only he can deliver - wish granted. To close, Primal Code bring a hypnotic version with an atmospheric ambiance and a nod to the original through dreamy gliding acid notes.

Opening the release, Schacke, a leader of Copenhagen’s fast techno-trance movement and rising techno star, delivers a fast and euphoric revamp. His ‘Kisloty People’ and ‘Trained To The Floor’ were some of 2019's biggest tunes and he now follows with his remix of 'Aurora Centralis' - a high energy, high tempo infectious groove amongst floating eerie synths.

Tin Man is a master of acid undulations who has put out countless LPs and EPs on Acid Test and Global A Records. Here he serves up a perfectly soft and tender acid lullaby with zoned out pads glowing up top like distant stars.

After cult classics on Lobster Theremin, Delsin and more, nthng’s dreamy, soulful sound is much loved and he provides his first ever remix here. Over 10 minutes he takes you on a cosmic ambient techno voyage to the edges of the galaxy on surging groves that leave you entranced.

For the final track, Primal Code have taken their dreamy sound, lush acid melodies and delicate drums to the likes of Hypnus, The Gods Planet and Semantica. It's a style that fits perfectly for this label and their remix is a warm, bubbly and deep techno classic with fuzzy acid and slick drum loops that lock you in the zone.

Tin Man’s ‘Detroit Remix’ and nthng’s ‘Saiyan Dream’ are two superb digital bonus tracks to round things out.
