FUREASTEEN pronounced fə́ːr-íːstíːn was formed in London in 1995 by Tomokazu Date, a Japanese musician exploring experimental sounds across England and Europe.

Along with fellow Japanese students from Saint Martin’s School of Art, he spent Sundays in a flat in Kings Cross recording lo-fi, avant-garde music using only cheap synthesizers and Casio keyboards.

In 1997, they released the 7-inch single KasioTelemusik on I Records (a Che Records sublabel). The group disbanded soon after, but Tomokazu continues to create under the name FUREASTEEN—weaving nostalgic textures, cosmic harmonies, and electric zen energy.

C H E S T E R is a music project created by a year 8 student called Jay Millar, he has lived in Melbourne his whole life and has been fascinated with music since a young age. He learns the drums and has had a couple of guitar lessons but every other instrument he has taught himself because he doesn't have a band. He listens to lots of different artists from Nirvana to Mac Demarco to Kreator. all of his demos are recorded using an old 4-track cassette recorder because he likes the sound better than GarageBand.

Music is the universal language, and those who speak it fluently create new words for us all to use. 

Artists struggle at times to collaborate even if they know each other, but Tripoint area producer Max is taking those efforts to a new level. 
Under the project name XNM, uploads a number of raw files and unfinished ideas to Soundcloud and puts out an open invitation: 
Any and all musicians who are willing to add to the sounds can do so, even if they are complete strangers. 
The creations are compiled into a series of singles, with four installments being released thus far.
