How do you like this hobby?

My music career began at the age of 6 when I received a guitar from my parents. I learned two chords and formed my first band. Our equipment was a puppet piano, two washing drums and a guitar. Between the ages of 12 and 15 I played in several bands with friends. Big role models were Jimi Hendrix, Doors, Janis Joplin, Alwin Lee etc. I was mainly influenced by Krautrock bans like Can, Groschnitt and Eloy. In the meantime I was able to improvise a few barre chords, mainly using the blues scale. But practicing was never my thing. So I automatically only progressed a step further when I liked a new riff. Music has always been an integral part of my work with children and people with disabilities. In 1990 I founded the band “Kroklowafzi” with friends, and later I played in the “Karl Grass Companie” purely for the joy of music, without any professional ambitions (audio samples are available on YouTube on my SoundCloud channel). During this time I had the opportunity to record my music in multiple tracks for the first time. Everything was still very amateurish and chaotic. After a divorce, I ended up on the streets and went into a psychotic episode. I now had 6 children to support but couldn't work. During this time, my brother gave me a music program that I could use to remaster my recordings from the last few years.

Daniel Gilbert is a multi-talented violinist/artist currently based in Minneapolis, MN. “Daniel the Violinist” prides himself on his extensive experience as an artist, composer, and versatility to adapt to just about any genre of music. What sets him apart, is his relentless dedication to creating music that reaches the soul. 
 Daniel creates beautiful memories and cinematic experiences for the listener. His interpretation of music is soulful, engaging, and weaves the fabric of a story that takes you on a journey leaving you wanting to hear more!

Bio
In 2007 at age 63 Montrealer Peter Wheeler bought his first guitar. He then went to amazon.com and purchased a book called “How To Play The Guitar for Dummies”. Since then he hasn’t looked back. 

Sometimes serious - sometimes humorous Wheeler’s music seeks to re-capture the Classic Vibes  from the 70’s & 80’s. To best describe his music imagine Bob Dylan & The Doors meet The Clash & Leonard Cohen at the Hotel California & share a bottle of wine with Tarantino. Peter Wheeler is a poet - focusing all his energies into creating musical canvases to express his personal vision of the world surrounding him. 

For several years Peter was part of the local bar scene in the Greater Montreal area.  He performed as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for The Rock Roulette Band. His experiences giving live performances and continually improving his guitar playing has truly shown that you can teach an old dog new tricks.

In 2020 Peter teamed up with Johnny Vienneau, a multi- talented musician and Producer from Montreal and recorded his first album of cover songs called "Self Portrait".  https://soundcloud.com/peter-wheeler/sets/self-portrait-1

Today Peter continues to pursue his passion for The Arts by doing portraits of friends, family and people he greatly admires. In 2021 he became a re-born again environmentalist and his songwriting is now focused on increasing awareness of the climatic challenge facing the planet.

I started working on my label "N.O.Y.B. ENT." in 2016. It's been a helluva journey just to get where I'm am today. Lacking the knowledge of the music industry could be detrimental to your pockets.
2019 was pretty good for me though..I have gained a little knowledge along the way by listening to the right people,taking advice, and accepting constructive criticism. It's 2020 and bout to roll the dice.
