A Musing #1

My new song ‘We Could Shake Stars From the Sky’. I made this track entirely myself (aside from the drums) using my acoustic guitar and an 80s synthesiser. The track has a dark, ambient production. I love the sound of pipe organs which are featured here and I never understand why more musicians and producers don’t use them. I hope you enjoy the track!

I believe what the world needs is more songs about love for all living things and the earthly treasures around us. The power of love is magical, mysterious, and miraculous!  And, it is essential to our survival like water and the air we breathe.  I believe that through the universal language of music, love can heal, bring joy, and create an invisible chain that pulls all of us together, not apart.  I vow to write only songs about love in 2024.  Will you join me?

A Little About Me...
I compose music on the piano. My inspiration comes from my dreams and my life experiences and is strongly influenced by my years of classical training. I am starting to get to know the Soundcloud community and never thought anyone would listen.  I love every genre of music, and the talent and creativity are mindblowing! I started composing later in life after many years of teaching.  Music, for me, must capture the imagination and emotions. When I play or listen, I want to feel something that brings joy or meaning in the moment. I am very grateful to all my listeners and the gift of music in my life!
