The welcoming arms of SynCity embraced me in a gigantic PINK HUG to celebrate the opening of Underland, the newest regional burn in Australia. Victorian Common Arts presented an amazing event, and the quality of every single detail blew my mind. What a joy it was to play in the dome, which I have dubbed the Amphitheatre of Dreams. This is only the second time I've played outside of my loungeroom, so it felt so very special to be surrounded by supportive PINK people! <3 <3 <3

I'm Gavin Sakae McLean, defining for myself what it means to put out what you want the world to be and living honestly with my heart outside of my chest because I might not know any better ;). My life has been a tapestry woven from the relentless pursuit of that elusive call, leading me through a myriad of experiences that have both challenged and shaped me. With a foundation in performing arts from Cornish College of the Arts and a master's in computer science from National University, my journey is anything but ordinary. Once a voice behind the characters in video games like "Antihero" and "Halo," and a recognized talent on the Seattle stage with an acting award to my name, I've lived many lives in one. My expertise in stage combat, voice, and speech has allowed me to tell stories through motion, emotion, and sound, crafting narratives that resonate and captivate.

But the call to create has grown louder, a siren song urging me to shift from chasing to producing. My vision is now set on mastering and mixing sounds that reflect the breadth of my experiences. From the nuances of dialects captured with a day's notice to the choreography of fight scenes that tell a tale as old as time, my art is a bridge between the seen and the unseen, the said and the unsaid.
