when the waves of silence break
on the dharma nomad's sitting mind
the daylight sleeper's naugual wakes
for a body of the idle kind

that speaks in riddles muted rhymes
and labrythene paths of jesting Joyce
where assonance stands guard and chimes
on onomatopoeic trysts.

For rivers run and waters foam
and dogs are dogs of many heads
no dwellings last where prospect roam

cannot withstand the yearly flooding force
and can and will and is not allowed for atrophy
as long as eight blurred legs still makes a horse

ah burning barnacles to make light
of tonal drylands and bold vertebrates

and sparks and bio luminosity and micotonal clefs

for those who walk the open scalar fields
have guns that glow and minds to blow

Could have been an echo or the humming of a sharpened blade of steel
sliding in the rails of Revolution, the hounds are on the loose, they're on the trail.
The inhabitants are stark raving mad, this is documented well-

i didn't even know, i didn't even know
that i was broken

still hoping for some Reverie

this is an open collaboration based on Jo's Lovely poem,vocals, and drumbeats @sonic-textures- I added some acoustic guitar and some FX  and grew those sunflowers--

he got locked out of her garden
before this springtime's floral bloom
as he saw her soft glance harden
saw different patterns on her loom

he found some fallow, barren wasteland
on a hill of thistles, nettles
to cultivate defiant plants and
to get scarred by willful brambles

there is nothing else you need
nutrient rich and bittersweet

haggard, thin and somewhat healthy
his medicine was on demand
to overcome fatigue and palsy

Jeff and I both feel the grieve of letting go. In times like these, though, it might be wiser to move unpredictably. Our special thanks go to the memory of Carlos Castaneda, whose novels and gesta and concepts of reality had had quite an impression on our respective minds when they were a lot younger and infinitely more malleable. It's been a blast!

The photograph of the lovely bench taken by Jo reminds me of the conversations between Carlos Casteneda and Juan Matus while sitting on benches in city parks  about Magic and human beings and the sheer wonder of this existence--the empty bench signifies  their absence in a most poignant way and the final installment in this definitive journey-- and yes indeed it has been a Blast!:)

on the brink of sanity
patterns to puzzle a lot from
radiance translates as "shree"
illuminates the rhizome

as alchemists nurse sympathy

Even though, small and uninformed
he seemed to know and though he tried
to get a fix on how and why and when and where
Explanations, few and far between
appearing only in a dream
forgotten in the waking
while brains are baking
and crud is caking on the carcass
while it's slipping in it"s standing
exponentially expanding disappointments
take their toll,
even though, wouldn't trade
this moment for a nickel or
for anything at all
graduated, grateful, gratified beyond belief
time's the culprit
time's the thief

Time it trembled as it took a tiny step
then another and another and another
and one by one illusions crumble
from the precipice they stumbled

overwhelmed by solitude without desire
the beginning of regret eventually becomes itself
as the grip begins to Slip
mortality is anxious for an outcome

started as a crawler then a totter to a toddler
to a walker then a runner
to a sprinter to the speed of light
and further on and back again

eventually to the brink of understanding
in a moment of the ultimate expanding
landing firmly after crashing through the curtain
finding something unexpected and perplexing
in the ether south of heaven
in the ally of a backstreet in the Crystal City-

where we're waiting in the Q
