Have just listened to part one on Jo's page...reading the descriptions about how these intriguing pieces were conceived and created gives a revealing window into the complexity of your combined thinking.  Have a lot of catching up to do but that dot on the horizon is me following you on this compelling voyage, one which I am enjoying so very much...

A quiet chill jazz fusion atmosphere perhaps NuJazz with minimal percussion but a throbbing beat and electro, including one synth — a marimba sounding arp like a ticking clock — that I use in this  composition and a few new songs such as Hidden Room. Time Machine is the title track from my upcoming Time Machine EP.

With respect to H.G.Wells, I daresay that the brain, and more expansively, the mind is the best time machine of the cosmos. In fact, it created the idea of a time machine and discovered the physics that can someday engineer a time travel device. Time itself is a construct or an invention of the mind.

Our minds as time machines can instantly travel to the past — retrieving data about history and the physical world, and experiences from memory as if they happened today. Our minds can also zoom out to the future — conjuring a vision of how the world could look as a mental rehearsal, a daydream, a thought experiment, and a creative process for solving problems and making art. Or building time machines. 

We, humans, may be physically limited but our minds are not. And that gives me hope, even in the midst of chaos.

A little song called Glow I wrote around 2018 timeframe. It's one of those that came together over time, especially the chorus, it was one of those back burner unfinished songs, but certainly never forgotten. I've always enjoyed playing this melody.  I made a few minor changes not long ago, with the arrangement and a few lyrics, and it really feels complete...finally. Ever meet someone where they put something in you that you feel like you can do anything?  I hope you enjoy this live take I did the other night on my old Baldwin. So Jo and I found ourselves spontaneously firing lines of lyics off at each other on some sort of Mad poetry binge--After these Seething pots of words were left to simmer and percolate Kimchee style--a small percentage of the words and ideas got stuck together somehow and cohesion was attained:)  i then sent Jo another big  pile of guitar stems, 5 in all--
Jo at this point put on his producer's hat and proceeded to form all this noise and racket into a most beautiful series of tunes which by the way is still in process-- An amazing job !! i am honored by his efforts--pure genius!!

I just want to say I'm beyond honored to be the subject of such adoration from my musical family here. Carl really knows how to make a brother feel special, and he did it for me this time, with the help of some of our EC extended family. Here's Carl's write up. 
"Mr Bringer-er Together-er is Josh. You may also know him as artist Entheogenic Psychnought, or the spine of Eclectic Collective. We all came across Josh in our own lucky ways, but he really sets a high bar for spreading constructive musical love and encouragement on SoundCloud. This song started out as a comment. I (Carl/TBD) went to call Josh Mr Bringer-er Together-er and my phone auto corrected it. the next morning K2 swooped in and said what I wanted so I used that as a trigger for the song.
So, I had a rough arrangement. We then invited a few artists, except Josh, to paint it for him. Scratch Kelly, aka Sarah, beamed through some amazing vocals. Not long behind Joe Stroffolino painted in some brilliant backing vox. Then Scotty (One Man Verity Show) chimed in with some amazing guitar, trippy backing vocals, and the super artwork you get to enjoy. Mark brushed in a triangle and some vox, and then Ken added those trusty drums. Tez then strutted in and added some super lead guitar, and not far behind him was Stephen with some epic rhythm guitar that showed the way for the song from that point of view showing a much better space to all the other instruments than the original demo guitar. That was a lovely lesson on less is more...

The song was now ready to give to the main man for him to paint, and he chose his trusty bass to put some strawberries on his own musical cake.

I now stared at 37 tracks and went... Hmmm Stephen, Help! Stephen mixed and mastered it to its crisp current form, and it was a very difficult mix. He basically had to merge 3 projects to one and really aced the challenging mix and master like the true shaman he is. We hope you enjoy the song that brought us together again. May it give us more togetherness like Josh so wonderfully demonstrates everyday

I had Spitfire Solo Strings gifted to me a while ago, I’m not even gonna say how long, it’s embarrassing. This track took forever. I knew exactly what I wanted (like I always do), but getting it to sound the way it did in my head? Nope. I lost count of how many times I rage quit.. but I always came back. I’m so glad I’m a stubborn bitch with a caffeine addiction and no sense of when to give up, because now I finally love how it turned out. Worth every dramatic sigh, every thrown cushion, and every “I swear I’m deleting this forever.” 💥🎻☕

I hope it brings you even a sliver of the ridiculous joy I felt when it finally sounded right, because this one nearly broke me and my keyboard. I'm not sure I will ever do another.

☕ The coffee machine let out a steamy wheeze and muttered, “My beans.... my soul.... I can finally rest”.
