A while back I viewed s/c as merely a hosting platform for posting on forums,but then I realised there was access to so many wonderful compositions by other folk,it then became my prime source of listening to music.
This little corner of the internet is actually a thriving musical community where nobodies such as myself can share songs with the great and the good.
All that just has to be positive and welcome.

Songs are a mix of solo work with all instruments played by myself,plus my own world weary vocals! I tend to favour my home made Telecasters and a Strat,though the odd acoustic makes an appearance. I use Logic Pro X and am a recent convert to DAW.

I play and write for the joy of expression and always with the hope my songs may be a positive force to anyone who takes time to listen. I'm an old boy now,so I harbour no dreams of success in the conventional sense,having the odd comment is just fine for me. Thanks to all who bother.

 Also earlier songs from a project in 2015, with Fiona and Martin Magill,Vocals and keys. Martin is a very talented working keyboard player,but sadly Fiona no longer sings. Our loss.
Lastly there are tracks from late 80s/early 90s from SOS,a band I was in back then.

Just like the photons that were created more than 13 billion years ago traveling at what we thought was a Cosmological Constant, time is an illusion. Were you that photon, you would not experience any time at all, the journey would happen in less than an instant. In fact everything to a photon moving at the speed of light happens in less than an instant, things do not appear or disappear, they are not created or destroyed, they just are, infinitely. The universe and everything that was ever and will ever begin and end, Is, infinitely.

When we get in touch with the present, we can be with the Is, all of the possible futures and pasts unfold before us, time and space are one and at once both static and dynamic. Some use music, some use sports, some meditate, draw, write, mold, build, design, lead, imagine... there are an infinite amount of ways to experience the Is, these are a few of our explorations of the Infinite Is.

Slim Loris was in idéa formed in the heads of singer/bassplayer Mattias Cederstam and guitarist Robert Barrefelt in 2009. The duo was soon accompanied by drummer Jonas Ellenberg and singer/guitarist Leon Lindström.

As the leading lights of Scandicana, the Swedish cousin of Americana, Slim Loris have received glowing tributes from the likes of Huffington Post and Axs. After releasing three albums however the band was forced to take a break due to some personal set-backs. 

Regrouping in 2017 Slim Loris changed their musical direction by returning to their early influences, from UK 60’s Beat to 90’s Indie. A goal was set to release a new EP every year. The restart was marked by "Wild and Untamed", released on May 2nd 2018. Produced by Pecka Hammarstedt in Olga Studios and with cover art painted by the acclaimed Swedish artist, Emil Grönholm (http://www.emilgronholm.com/), with world renowned jazz/funk saxophonist Per Ruskträsk Johansson makes a guest appearance on the song Hideaway. Platinum record awarded director Jonas Hong Soo Eriksson, who also directed Slim Loris video "Head on the floor", reunited with the band and recorded a video for the song "Hideaway" that was premiered by Clash music.
It was followed in 2019 by EP "One kind of Bull" that takes a step back in time with a more back to basics approach. Co-produced by Pecka Hammarstedt and with another cover art master piece by Emil Grömholm. Slim Loris followed the release with performances at the IPO festival in Liverpool, UK and Stockholm.

Music by Slim Loris have been featured in the Swedish films "Var kommer mjölken ifrån" and "Allt vi får från får - en film om får" and also in "Skärgårdsliv – en film om skärgårdsbönder och deras djur”.

The band returned to the studio with producer Pecka Hammarstedt to record new music resulting in new EP "When Life Interferes" due to be released on Novermber 13th 2020 with a tour of Sweden and the UK to follow.
