I just redid the mix and fixed the drums, and some of the more glaring vocal problems, and got that cool guitar lead to shine a little. It sounds a lot better now.

My SoundCloud friend from the UK Martin Dean recently took me up on a suggestion that we create something beautiful together. Something spoke deeply to me while listening to his Cloud, and after about a month of consideration he settled on this improvisational piano piece of mine, and worked to orchestrate it along the 'less is more' principle. Way overdue for something new but I've been living in exile without the usual, albeit modest, setup I'm used to. So this might be pretty rough. And it's full of the usual horror at political realities and way full of schmaltzy velveeta. 

Guitarist note:  I don't have amps at present and was struggling to find a decent direct sound. There is a *free* VST plugin by Neural Amp DSP and online libraries of tone prints, also free, that came to the rescue. Highly recommended.

So ~ I wasn't really intending on writing / recording another new song at the moment since I'm attempting to finish a number of other songs for my current project ~~but This One came to me one day in July & I felt compelled & decided to kind of drop everything  & record it, as I was hearing it as the possible song I may tag on as the Final Song of my new project once it is complete to close it out ~~

Thank you for visiting my site! Firstly, thank you so much for your kindness and your support for this music. It means the world! 

I’m an independent artist/label composing cinematic electronic music since 2005 when Indigo World Productions was formed and registered through ASCAP. The music you will hear is a direct expression of inspirations and visualizations. I’m mostly self-taught with little formal training and having had but for a few lessons. 

*** No AI is used in my productions. ***

The music is produced using multiple virtual instruments including Omnisphere and Kontakt. I’m using a Roland FA-08 88-key weighted-action synth workstation to produce some of the sounds I’m working with and to drive the VSTs through MIDI. The vocals I work with were recorded by a professional soloist and licensed for commercial use. 

From the start I’ve been inspired by film scores from composers such as Vangelis, Ennio Morricone, and Hans Zimmer. I’m greatly inspired by the works of Vangelis. The music I create is emotive with minimal engineering to preserve the feeling behind the music.   

In addition to music, I’ve worked summers supervising crews on wildfires in Colorado. I also volunteered as team leader for search & rescue, performing rescues and recoveries in the mountains of southern Colorado as a way of giving back to the community. 

Indigo World Productions is an independent publisher label cleared and registered through ASCAP'S DART Claim Publisher Members and Affiliated Foreign Societies in 2005.
