She’s rhyming reasons why
No clouds up in the sky
Feels better when it rains
Washes her tears away 

The starlings dance and sing
But she can’t feel a thing
Dreams without wings can’t fly
Hearts without dreams,
Hearts without dreams can die

She fogs the windowpane
Then draws a smiling face
Puts herself in its place
Then she DRAWS the window shade
I’d rather take your fall
Then watch you walk away from it all 
If the rain is where you hide
I’ll be waiting outside

Eden seems so far away

Reached out to touch the sun
On fire, burning wings are gone
Fall burning just to be
Between the sky and sea

Some cast in molds cracked and broke
While others tempered and gold
Some lost in a gaze
While others burn and fade
