Adele Schopenhauer is a romantic German poet (1797-1849)Her words and closeness to nature create spaces that were denied in the convention-driven world of the late 19th century. Language and poetry create freedom and healing at the same time. This is where the musician ANEWAL picks up. Deeply rooted in his traditional world and culture of the Tuareg (Kel Tamasheq), music is the bridge between human thoughts and the vast universe of the desert as companion in the lonely nights. He reproduces moods in the form of melodies, especially where words cannot capture the meaning. Music is the hum of the wind and the sound of his soul. Thus the words of the romantic poet reach him without deciphering their content. He lets himself be guided by her tonality, her mood and interprets her homages to nature with singing and interpretation in the style of desert blues woven into the poetry recitations of the journalist and author Sandra van Edig. The ethiopian guitarist Girum Mezmur and german multi-instrumentalist Johannes Kuchta support at guitar and percussion. This project has been supported by an artist scholarship of the "Bezirksregierung Köln".
