What does a parent, or grandparents say or sing to their children, or grandchildren if any kind of armageddon is here? And how many times have these sentiments been sung, historically and in the present.

Is it comfort..... loss and sadness........ anger....... or does it just describe an endless emptiness, over humanity's inability......

This song flowed out of me at the end of corona pandemic, and then went into hibernation, for some reason. And I apologize, I didn't even write down the lyric, it just came in a moment of inspiration, or was it despair?...... But I think you understand the spirit of the song anyway.

And maybe it is now relevant again with new possible diseases spreading. Bird flu, foot and mouth disease in cattle, measles, ebola, and all the microplastics and other toxic components they now acknowledge are in our food and our bodies, and even in the unborn.....and so many more in different parts of the world.........Hmmmmm........

Life rarely moves in straight lines—and neither does the music. Three Photons returns with "Contours and Detours", a winding, analog-rich meditation on movement, misdirection, and the beauty of the unexpected.

Contours and Detours is my take on Gershwin's Rhythm changes with my own harmonic substitutions throughout. Written in B-flat Major with a Key change in the bridge.

Another classic by one of my favourite bands U2. I like the message of this one and I thought it worked OK on acoustic so added it to my repertoire. This is a recording of a live rehearsal. Hope you like it!
