Dance music is a kind of love and obsession that went deeply in his life at Ibiza, Spain where he lived some of the most exciting years of his life on the beginning of last decade.

With the contagious environment, and with some support of his dj friends, Filipe initiates his firsts dj appearances in a illegal after hours at Marina Botafoch, Ibiza, but is back to Portugal, alone under the name of MUGS, his nickname for almost 15 years, or TURNDTABLE along with his best friend Jorge Alves, that he starts doing regular live dj sessions.

He gets into Lisbon’s most known underground clubs as resident dj.
Places like OPART, KO-ZEE CLUB, ESTUDIO 132, EUROPA, CLUB SOUK or UNDERGROUND LISBON where places where Filipe had hundreds of unforgettable moments not only as dj but also as dance music lover.

He "jumped out of the water" with some international requests from LIGHTBOX and PACHA at LONDON where he shared line up with MONIKA KRUSE and JEF K from THE GATHERING just to name a few...

He was also resident dj for MINISTRY OF SOUND and HED KANDI RED SEA at Egypt in 2010.

MOOGS comes with his firsts tracks as music producer, and back to Ibiza brings his project MUSIC MATTERS, an agency, promoter and events producer who star his activity in the year of 2009.

As dj, Filipe takes a musical style and embodies it intuitively knowing what a crowd wants at any time.
Acording to the night and local concepts, his music can flow thru the chilliest deep, minimal and jazzy house tunes together with old and nu-school tech-house, creating outstanding moments of joy and fun on the dance-floor with his flawless mixing skills.

He shared unforgettable moments with many top djs, producers and musicians such as Stephan Bodzin, Abe Duque, Marc Antona, Exercise One, Monika Kruse, Florian Meindl, Kanio, Tiger Stripes, Maxime Dangles, Spektre, Kasey Taylor, Jussy Pekka, Arnaud le Texier, Luciano Esse, Zentex, Jerry the Cat, James Warren, and Portuguese top djs such as Dj Vibe, Stereo Addiction aka John-E &amp; Gustavo Rodrigues, Magazino, Himan, Diego Miranda, Jiggy, L.O.K.I., Switchst(d)ance, Calapez, Freshkitos, Pena, Kinky Boy, Internal Sync, Heartbreakerz, Kaesar, Pedro Zoy, Bart Cruz, Mark &amp; Stevens, Nuno Ramos, Ruca & Jonsky and E-Klash just to name a few.



I live in the American Gardens Building on W. 81st Street on the 11th floor. My name is Patrick Bateman. I'm 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Love music for sure! I just couldn't imagine life without music! Love water & love road trips!!! Dancing is about my only exercise!!!
