It pulls at the mesmerized traveler, with its cloaked hidden vortex, an oriface waiting to feed its cavernous inner infinity.  It awaits those who venture toward it, luring them ever closer . . . as  the nourished vortex continues with its gleaming mirage.

Mr Squires is a DJ, music curator, and storyteller through sound. He first gained recognition at Kerfuffle Cambodia, an underground jungle party, where his sunrise sets and melodic house and techno became a staple of the event.

He curates two podcast series: Techno for Breakfast, featuring house and techno made for the mornings and The Slowpoke Sessions, a downtempo exploration of multicultural sounds. He is also the creator of @LifeOrganic, a music brand and radio platform that blends music, wellness, and nature into immersive storytelling experiences. Omapots is an electronic music producer from Norway. He merges his science background with a deep interest in sound, and utilizes both passion and scientific principles in exploring new sound textures. Analog synthezisers and Eurorack setups play a large role in the sound design process accompanied by organic recordings, such as birds or laboratory equipments in part of the sculpting process of experimental flavours. 

The creator of Omapots is also a co-founder of Nemø, alongside the artist Dharma Das. Nemø is a cutting-edge psytrance project, blending zenonesque and progressive psytrance with innovative approaches to how the genre can evolve and be expressed.

As a collaborator with RaveLatefest [link: linktr.ee/ravelatefest], Omapots has made his mark at Oslo Bar & Scene, showcasing his dedication to expanding the realms of trance and electronic music.

For many years, I spent endless hours designing and building my own synth engines (formerly an engineer with one of the Lucas Films spinoffs).  Now I spend endless hours creating presets, soundscapes and compositions in my ever evolving synth lab, spawning tracks from the incubator . . . and mystifying the neighbors in the pre-dawn hours.
