Brian would have been 70 today, three years younger than one of his boyhood heroes, Eric Clapton and, in my totally unbiased opinion, every bit as good.  I always thought he would grow old playing his guitar, singing his favourite songs to all who'd listen, and there would have been plenty that would.  I still wake up expecting him to be there and the realisation that my music King has gone is still as painful as ever.    
Some of you may remember the original version (https://soundcloud.com/mountain-songs/whos-gonna-be-my-king-by-cripple-club-provisional-mix), uploaded a couple of years back.  This new mix from Hans arrived out of the blue and was, as you can imagine, the most wonderful surprise -  Gal and me were just blown away.  All the credit for this 'return' goes to him.  Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Wanted to take the opportunity to say the hugest of thanks to everyone that's written to me, or left a comment sending greetings - all have more than  warmed the cockles of the old Reeves heart. In The Light

Collaborated with my good friend and band mate Pat Howell on mandolin to compose this uplifting tune. We first played it as an offertory at church but wanted to do more with it in a studio setting. We like the results and hope you do too. Named in honor of Pat's new puppy, now a very energetic dog:)
