The essence that defines the music from Belgian born, Berlin-based 
Max Donnet – known by the artist name of CookStrummer – is one that is threaded with obscure dreams, magical symbols and modern myths.

His music is an evocative blend of the organic and the electronic, a fresh mix of drum machines, guitars and synthesizers. Channelling his country’s famous Cold Wave movement, it’s adorned with House flourishes and influenced heavily by Berlin’s electronic music scene.
