The dreamteam is back: Hans Pech & Ekko reunite on the final release of the first year of LAPS Recordings! With their last collab they have already proven their willingness to push beyond the mainstream, but their newest single takes it one level further. "Groupies" is a Hardtechno anthem that takes us back into the 90s. Classic drum-machines and 303s create a feeling of nostalgia. In contrast to that stands the main-vocal that resembles modern-day Grime and UK-Drill, resulting in a track guaranteed to get everybody dancing!

Its a pleasure for us to have Tonino back on LAPS with a powerful Melodic Techno tune! The track is called "Collapse" and features wide, atmospheric synths as we love it. Hans Pech joins the party with a more progressive version that gives the track a new colorful touch!

Ekko is back with this massive two-tracker. His third solo release on Laps Recordings is Ekko at his best. Satellite is an arp driven cool dancefloor tool. As known , with Ekko comes acid, also in this track. The second track Mayhem is simply epic and more focused on the complex wonderful melody. But after the break he serves a nice candy flip out of DnB influenced bass fills and oldschool rave stabs. Dope!

This round is served by a new face on our label. Tangerine Dreamer from Glasgow delivers well calculated melodic heat. The first track of this two-tracker fits perfect in the club aswell as the festival beach. This bassline keeps you grooving. The b-side is more playful, dreamy and also melancholic. A perfect finish.

If there was a Hardtechno-Prom, Mansist would definetly be the hottest couple on the dancefloor! The two have been a part of Hannovers club scene for several years are famous for their closing-sets at the legendary Klub PAN. For their first release they team up with Anija, delivering a powerful 2-tracker. "One Eyed Steve" is an Acid infused Hardtechno-banger. "Mounted Reaper" is more rooted in Industrial-Techno but delivers the same frantic and chaotic energy. Kyle Ramsay joins the party with a more groovy and melodic remix of "Mounted Reaper"!

We are going international once again: its a huge pleasure for us to welcome the young & talented producer IN-sane from Italy to our LAPS-family! He comes up with a powerful and versatile 3 tracker. The first track "My Way" has a really groovy nature to it and catches the listener with its main vocal. "Dreamcode", the title track, is a driving, highly danceable Melodic-Techno tune and the closing track "Dramacode" adds even more energy and drive to the dancefloor!

I was born in Brantford Ontario Canada July 11th 1963,
I'm a retired City Worker from The Brantford Ontario Works Dept of 34 years of service,
I was 9 years old when I started taking drum lessons with the Ontario Conservatory Of Music,
I taught drum lessons and played in a band that played blues, country, 50's, blue grass,
I started making playlists at the age of 12 years old (1975) Pioneer Turntable, Cassette Deck, Receiver & two 50 watt Speakers.
