Despite buzzing social networks and fan pages rampant with rumors, Ages Apart has stayed impressively secretive about the new release, reluctant to ruin the big surprise for their hardcore fans. But one thing is beyond doubt: S.T.A.T.I.C. is well worth the wait. Ages Apart, after all, has made a career out of shattering expectations.

Out of the most famous and lively township in South Africa and indeed the world, Mondli Mashinini aka DJ Fresca is hailed as one of the liveliest and best. He is well respected and reknowned amongst his peers at Soul Candi and in the industry at large. The decks are sure to be on fire when he's in charge. 

DJ Fresca's smash hit, "Iinto enge Khoyo" has been blazing the airwaves and filling dance floors at every party and social gathering. The hit is available on the current DJ Fistas' Mixwell Impressive,  the SABC's House Flava Fo Sho compilation and the Café Solaire 16 compilation released in Germany. The song was done by him and his partner at Urban Tone Records, Nhlanhla Khumalo ft Lelethu. The duo has recently released there debut album which is on high rotation on most influencial radio stations nationally and is doing very well sales wise.

DJ Fresca has been dj'ing for 15 years and producing for the past 5 years.  
By all means, he is a pro at what he does. He is high on the list of any good party organiser. He has a vibrant and unique style of playing and fuses Minimal, Soul, Deep and vocal House that drives people crazy. Scores and scores of crowds have been rocked by him at clubs and venues like Rock N Roll, Club Arena, Electric Workshop, Zambezi Lounge, Sky Bar, etc. 

DJ Fresca is and has been playing with top DJ's from South Africa and around the world. Fellow DJ's like Oskido, Vinny Da Vinci, DJ Christos, DJ Monde, DJ Mbuso, Glen Lewis, have nothing but the best things to say about him. He's played with international DJ's like Paul Johnson and DJ Skip, Hendrik Schwartz, Ame and Heather (of Black Ledgents). He's had recording sessions with DJ Jayson. This man is on a plan to take over, and if the response to "Iinto Enge Khoyo" is anything to go by, he probably will.

DJ Fresca has quite a few accolades in the industry but one of the most memorable for him was winning the 2004 season of the Vinyl Meltdown that's hosted by DJ Fresh and yes, Fresh does think that nothing tastes like Fresca. DJ Fresca is inspired by other DJ's and artists, and his love for the music. 

He is a regular feature at the Soweto Beach Party, went on tour with Miller Genuine Draft, went on tour from Cape to Cairo, literally. He's played in Cape Town, Durban, Namibia, Lesotho, Botswana and all the way to Egypt. 

He has recently been touring and promoting SABC's "House Flava Fo Sho" with DJ's Clock, Giggs(Superstar), Master Jam, Mr Cee(Blackwhole) and Lelethu Nkula, the vocalist of "Iinto Enge Khoyo".

He is also on tour with Savanna on the Savanna Lemon Revolution & Savanna Exclusive Picnic. He is playing alongside the likes of DJ Monde, Mac G, C-Live, Zan D, 2lly and Linda The Great.

In the spirit of "Ubuntu", he has also been involved in the National Tour Campaign for the Society for Family Health on a drive to raise awareness and educate people about HIV/AIDS. His passion to help also extended his career and scope as he is a full time DJ Course Lecturer at the Soul Candi Institute of Music in Springfield, Johannesburg. All this is testimony to his talent and due to his extensive knowledge and experience. He loves to share his love, passion and knowledge with up-and-coming dj's and producers. 

Not only is Fresca a DJ but you could call him a historian as well. He made history by becoming the very first student to enroll at the Soul Candi Institute of Music in January 2003. Subsequent to that he was then recruited by Soul Candi to become the music production lecturer and then DJ lecturer. He has been at Soul Candi since 2004.

Although Soul Candi epitomised his career, DJ Fresca has been in the industry for a very long time. As far back as 1998, he used to blaze the airwaves as a resident DJ at YFM with the late legendary Khabzela. He stayed at YFM for a period of two years. He featured in various shows at YFM for the likes of Unathi, Bondo Ntuli, Nutty Nice and AK. 

With the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa DJ Fresca has been part of many events during the event. A regular at the SABC Radio Football Friday events happening at the SABC premises.   A resident DJ at the Innes Free Park and Elkha Stadium Fan Fests this been a joy full world cup for him. 

DJ Fresca is a very big force to be reckoned with and will still be at forefront of House music now, and for a very long time to come.


A dusty wind blows through the yard and tears the pages out of your notebook. You run around the neighborhood to catch them, and as you do, you find yourself in the middle of a circle of people who are about to square off in some kind of battle. Or perhaps it's a ceremony. They are dressed in denim and handkerchiefs, and they are adorned with symbols from all over. Your poetic wanderings have led you into the middle of something strange and possibly dangerous.

Sedona, AZ based songwriter Brandon Decker (aka decker.) presents his 8th studio album, Ouroboros, a fusion of poetry and chaos. There is a blistering energy running through it all, like a transformer has been left on in the basement and no one can figure out how to shut it off. 

Ouroboros is a concept album relating to life, death and transcendence. Decker, who Glide Magazine calls, “one of the country’s most criminally underrated songwriters,” has never written an album that wasn't a whole thematic unit. This latest offering arose out of the grief and bewilderment of watching his father die from cancer while Brandon was left to deal with the very real remnants of familial trauma. At the same crossroads came a painful end to a relationship with a woman he had planned to marry. 

And so, to transcend, to build a community, to create ceremony: a pathway to the other side through music. 

To the hallowed grounds of EastWest Studios in Los Angeles, a studio big enough to sustain Decker's vision of recording a robust album, live with no overdubs, in a mere two days. While others tried to convince him to pare down and record piece-by-piece, Decker insisted everyone would record only through directly connecting with each other and with the music; in the same moment, in the same space.  Decker brought his ensemble of 16 musicians, complete with horns, strings and choir to the studio and room where everyone from Frank Sinatra to Kendrick Lamar have made legendary records. Laughing, crying, breathing it all in together, there was no time to lie on couches and check phones.

That vibrancy of the moment bleeds through every song on the record. The brass feels like they were blown into town by a hurricane nursing one bottle of rum between them. The strings play like they believe they can still get off the sinking ship. Decker's voice sounds like someone who has had to rescue many pages of poetry from the clutches of bullies. 

For a band known for music dubbed “soulful desert psychedelia,” the song "Supernovae" somewhat surprisingly pushes through the choppy waters of this storm at sea; the horn section trying to get its footing while Decker alternately sings, "I'm alright, I'm alright, I'm alright  / I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive."  The track feels thrillingly unstable, what rock and roll should be.  The Strokes get lost in the desert in the driving "Mojave," as Decker emotes, "I hope a rattlesnake don't get bit by you." No matter how furtive and searching a decker. song gets, there is always a burst of brightness and escape, bringing the sky close to the desert floor. Like a "Long Long Long" following a "Helter Skelter," the song "Sea Change" dries out our storm-soaked clothes with a gentle, circular melody. A torrent of words comes instead of electric guitars and horns as Decker sings, "Do you remember twilight?" A string section and a chorus of singers provide a gorgeous backdrop for the surprising turn of gentleness from this gate-crashing band.
"Spirit is your strength/ not a myth, not a weakness," Decker sings on "Limbs," the center point of the album. All of us living through this era have been asked to forgo the urges of the spirit in favor of technology and money and now we realize it might be up to us to create our own ceremonies and rituals. On "Mourning Dove," he sings, "My sweet dove, my sweet lamb/ Held it so tight it slipped right through our hands." That paradox drives the music on this record, trying to grasp the sweet things with scarred hands.

After two days of recording, even before the album was mixed, Brandon felt the totality of grief rise up to finally be witnessed and celebrated, all to be let go into the air. A true grief ceremony, but one captured on tape. "I lived through this, I loved through this, I transformed, and now it is done," he said.

PopMatters states, “It doesn't take too long to recognize that the swirling psychedelic soundscapes that Brandon Decker paints with his music pull inspiration from his Sedona home.” Ouroboros, the latest collection of all that mystical wild energy and delicate poetry, is there for anyone's rituals, battles, and moments of tenderly letting go.  The album releases June 9 through Kingston, NY’s esteemed Royal Potato Family.

Libel is New York City’s proudest purveyors of Protoglam, a delicate concoction of vintage Bowie, post-hardcore and a touch of shoegaze. Basically imagine if the Thin White Duke walked into an early 90s Fugazi show and said, “Guys, this is great, but you need more effects pedals.” Full-length “Comfort in the Noise,” released in 2016, captures both the band’s musical ambitions and songwriting prowess, balancing dual guitar pyrotechnics and solid hooks with fat grooves thanks to the tighter-than-tight rhythm section.

Adam AKA MAXX
Maxx began his journey in the Music business during 1995, taking his first steps onto the stage and taking control of the DJ decks at a Student Club named Trops. During his ten years at Trops Maxx was the Only DJ at this club and also took his skills up to the next level to become the Artistic Manager. 
From 2005-2009 MAXX became a resident DJ at Terytoriam, during this time an event created by Maxx became increasingly popular and proved to be a great success; 
‘BORA BORA’ – with the sounds and feelings of the White Island and full house. 
While working at Trops in 2003 Maxx began to work within Radio at the station RM1.FM which later became the current Planeta Poznan, he worked at the radio station until 2011. While working at the station Maxx was the host of many popular programmes including his own show ‘vinyl nights’. This focussed on hosting famous DJs from around Poland and Europe where they were invited to play on the show. 
From a young age Maxx had a huge interest in many genres but a few of them stood out, RnB, Soul and Hip Hop. Over time Maxx began to extend his horizons leaving him fascinated with House music; being fully submerged and absorbing the sounds of house, Maxx is able to prime his Sets full of passion, illumination and sensual sound. Perfect for any party adding the element of class through instrumentals and memorising sounds such as Saxophone. 
Maxx always promotes himself in a positive manner, giving energy from his performances though interaction with the crowd personally and through every sound loving and passionately created from his hands. This is an unforgettable dose of Happy, sensual, enlightening music with the odd bit of humour emanating from Maxx.
For many years Maxx appeared before the public in many of the biggest and best clubs in Poland, Dublin Ireland and Majorca on a regular basis.
Maxx has also performed in some of the biggest music events in Poland, this is something Maxx is very proud of and believes them to be his greatest successes.

Daniele Mondello and Viviana Parisi Aka Express Viviana a met each other in December 2001 in Turin (Italy). Daniele is from the south of Italy and Viviana was born and raised in Turin. In 2003 they married and Viviana left the northern of Italy after 26 years to move to Messina in Sicily, the city of Daniele. 
They are both music lovers and not just Hardstyle but they like to listen to any genre. Together they spend a lot of time in the studio producing anything like every day. Daniele and Viviana are born Dj, label boss Hardstyle Creation Recordings, promoters and general industry Monday Studio, producers, all-rounder. 

The Hardstyle Creation Recordings Label is the result is a progressive, 21st century music entertainment company that utilizes cutting-edge Internet and Street marketing strategies to its full potential.

This was just the beginning because in these years Daniele, with his amazing scratching skills has been able to perform in awesome events and festivals such as 10 Years of Qdance, Qlimax, Inqontrol, Hardbass, Decibel Outdoor, Defqon 1, Xqlusive, Impulz, Frequence Outdoor, Mystery Land, Q-Base, Ground Zero Festival, Emporium, Multigroove, Energy, Bassrulers, Kiddfectious, The Qontinent (just to mention a few). The impressive list of clubs and events all over the globe where he has performed continues. In these years he has been able to develop and improve also the productions side and he has became a very massive producer, releasing and remixing tracks for many Record companies around the world.
