Is there anybody out there fancy a jam? I’ve really been enjoying rearranging covers of classics but feeling stuck in a rut - so if you have a riff but never know where to take it - chord sequence you always strum but never use -bass - melody lyrics -even a whole song you wanna hear in a different style -DM me ☺️💜😈-nothing can become something with a little energy exchange ....💜🤘🏻💜

Songs with a twinge of humor (and some a bit more serious).  
I do not use AI to create my songs. 
Recently I have had the urge to pick up my guitars (Taylor 114ce and Fender Squire) and I have been trying to use more guitar in my songs.  
My go to .vst plug ins are  EZkeys 2, EZ Bass and  EZ drummer 3) and my DAW is Logic Pro 11. 
I welcome your comments and enjoy listening to all the great music on SoundCloud.

LORRIDI is a Power Folk/Viking Metal solo project by Jan Magne Garte. Taking inspiration from the sagas of the viking age and norse mythology, Garte creates vivid images of the old gods and warriors through his music and lyrics.

Born in Norway, 1971. At the age of 16, Jan Magne Garte played bass in different bands starting in the mid '80s. Growing in popularity and opening for some of the most popular Norwegian Rock bands at the time. By the early 2000s, Garte started expanding his repertoire by singing songs himself and switching from bass to guitar.

Around the same time his parental duties would start to take the focus from the music, and his career as a musician   took a hiatus for almost two decades. Now after all this time, his love for making music has truly rekindled and the old musician has returned. 

All of his music is heavly influenced by the songs of his youth, from genres such as '80s hard rock, heavy metal, thrash, but also taking notes from the next generation of musicians.

Garte also has another solo project under his own name. 
All tracks were composed, arranged, recorded and mastered by Garte himself.
