I was going for a vibe with this one. It is summer where I live, and I have a Jeep Wrangler that I tool around in the summer with the top and doors off. I was trying to write the kind of track I like to listen to when doing that. I haven't actually tried that yet, but I think I got the essence of it.

Technical details about the song (for music gearheads)...
The only samples are the kick, & the snare at the end. Everything else is old analog hardware synths.  No midi or sequencers;  the repeating patterns were lfo triggered & manually synced/edited.

I've been on Soundcloud for six years now and it's been great exploring the work of other artists.  There is so much generosity of spirit on this platform, it's just what you need when most of your music is made solo. 

I started out playing classical and Spanish guitar, then took up flamenco to ease myself away from the confines of musical notation. As a result, Latin rhythms often creep into my music. 

A friend introduced me to steel string and electric guitars just a few years ago and I still find the scope they bring dizzying... but what fun!
