DJ and producer, Omary lives off his passion for music. Inspired by African and Moroccan musical culture, he is always looking for rhythms based mainly on wind instruments to give life to his sounds combining electro and traditional music. A combination that ignites the tracks. 

This casablancais of birth, lovers of music since his youngest age, never hesitated to take the lead to show his talent that began on percussion instruments and more precisely the Derbouka, a passion that he shared with his father. 

Sociable and lively, Omary was often invited to the biggest events of Moroccan night life as a spectator. His curiosity led him to take an interest in the world of Dijing. 

His first experience as a DJ was born in one of the biggest private Casablancaises parties in which several Artistic Directors were present who saw in him a real potential. 

Since then, Omary has been mixing in most of the trendy places in the Kingdom as a Guest DJ, often sold out and has also recently launched his own record label under the name '' OSTOWANA ''

My Life (DJ Saint) I was born Jose A. Sanchez Jr. on 23rd street in Manhattan New York City on the cold month Of January, 1959. My parents both from Mayaguez Puerto Rico would later settle in Jersey City where I was raised. While growing up I noticed That I had talent in the arts and this became part of my life when I was Young. Around the 1970's I also started enjoying music, so I enrolled to take guitar lessons and this made me get into various instruments like the guitar, bass, keyboards and a trombone. At the time I started listening to the AM station WWRL coming out of Newark NJ and the FM radio station WBLS with DJ Frankie Crocker. They would play non-stop Disco music on saturday nights from 12 midnight till 4 a.m. Throughout this time I started enjoying the Funky, Afro, Jazzy, Latin, influence in the music that was played on these stations so this started my Vynle collection. I would Buy Records where ever I could find it. The record shops I Would buy at were the Magic ID Records, Newark Ave Jersey City - Downstairs Records In the 33rd street Train Station Tunnel - The Colony Record Store on 43rd Street in New York City - The Music Village Records in Newark New Jersey. As My Mobile DJ life started I joined 99 Prince Street Record Pool and later branched off to the Inter Metro Record Pool. My Vynle collection grew to 50 milk crates full until I Got rid of them in the middle 80's. I now have a collection of over 1000 cd's which include the classics I once had on vynle. Favorite Clubs - (NYC)Paradise Garage, Buttermilk Bottle, Crisco Disco, (Newark NJ) Zanzibar, Docks, (Jersey City) El Centro. Favorite DJ's - Nicky Siano, Larry Levan, Danny Krivit, Tee Scott, Bobby Kondors, Louie Vega, Francoi K., and Joe Clausell. MY LIFE IS MUSIC AND MUSIC IS MY LIFE...
