Sibusiso Mhlongo famously known as the music luminary DJ Merlon was born 28 years ago
on the 7th day of August at Umbumbulu, a mission under eThekwini Municipality.
Technically gifted and ambitious with his education he moved to Esikhawini Township in
Zululand where he matriculated at Hlamvana High School. His passion for Music began
when he started his Tertiary Education in 2002 at the Durban University of Technology.
From then on his life was never quite the same; this musical prodigy was destined for great
things. He graduate getting his Operations/ Production Management Diploma in 2005.
Later that year (2005), DJ Merlon joined forces and went on to assist ZakesBANTWINI when
he started his Music label, Mayonie Production. In that midst, Mayonie Productions
discovered and signed Lvovo Derrango early in 2006 and Merlon become his Tour Manager,
DJ and opening Act. During his time at Mayonie Productions DJ Merlon was presented with
an exclusive opportunity, he was one of the people whom were in the forefront in the
making of Lvovo Derrango’s first studio album. This opportunity led him to work closely with
a group called Shana (Shota, Demor and BlackCoffee). In 2007 parallel to his DJ career he
became an Artist Manager for Lvovo Derrango and Later for all Mayonie Productions Artists
including Zakes Bantwini, Beezory and the late DJ Buddah.
In 2008 he left Mayonie Productions to focus and develop his DJ career, a month later Lvovo
Derrango also left Mayonie Productions to start his own label Derrango Records and signed
DJ Merlon as his first artist. This was yet another promising opportunity for the multitalented
Disc Jockey. However; it was not all smiles and gloom, with Lvovo busy with his
booming and the promising Kwaito career, DJ Merlon was left with no choice but to go back
into the office, he then multi tasked between being a DJ and a label manager for Derrango
Records. During this time he used this opportunity to further develop his DJ skills playing
before/ after Lvovo’s performance in all the gigs they attended, including the international
performances/ stages in England, Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland, Zimbabwe and also in all
nine provinces locally, slowly DJ Merlon’s brand was growing and with immense potential,
indeed greater things were on the way.
In 2010, Merlon joined forces with Mthokozi “DJ Tira” Khathi on the release of Lvovo’s 4th
offering “Irresistible”, both of them as executive producers to the project.
Flash-forward to 2011 DJ Merlon developed his DJ brand and became one of the most
sought after DJ’s in Durban and the entire KwaZulu Natal Province and other provinces, he
was no longer just a DJ, he was a well-recognised and respected brand among promoters
and event organisers.
2012 was a stepping stone for this house music sensation; besides being an executive
producer to Lvovo Derrango’s “The Head Master” album, he started working on his first
musical offering, his very own project titled “Sounds musical” which is now released and
available in all good music stores. To guarantee success of this album nationally Derrango
Records joined forces with Music Box Entertainment owned by the popular DJ Terence.
Together they sealed a deal for a star DJ with Soul Candi now known as Music
Entertainment and Solution Hub (MESH). With this album Merlon wanted to unleash new
talent, working with local underground Vocalists such as Lwazi, Ndu Shezi, Bevan Lynch and
Monaco. However, with all his references he did work with some of the big names as well
such as DJ Terence, Lvovo Derrango, Moneoa and Mondli Ngcobo and well recognised
producers including Invaders of Africa, Pex Africa, Mondli Ngcobo and Unplugged.
Over the years he has played alongside and shared stages with internationally recognised
and musical influences such as BlackCoffee (Soulistic Music), Ralf gum (GOGO-Music),
Rocco, Oskido, Fistaz and DJ Fresh.
Besides being a DJ, Merlon has also coordinated and managed a number of events for
tertiary institutions, private sector and government departments around the country. In
these events he has also booked and worked with a number of high ranking artists and
companies.
What makes him unique as a DJ is his vocal house sound, continuously improving skills and
techniques when he entertained crowds all over the country and very soon the world.
Indeed with so much talent, focus and skill, DJ Merlon is the next Big name to ever come out
of the South African Music industry.


ECHO DEEP PRESS KIT
Precision, timing and good mixing skills are the primary elements one thinks of when the name Echo Deep comes up. The Soweto born DJ and producer TshepoMolefe is one of the most respected underground and upcoming artists, both locally and internationally. He currently owns a slot as an MIX DJ on the Dia Roropa Show every Fridays on Lesedi FM. He also carries an award from The Akademia Music Award of Excellence under the “Dance/Electronica” category in the Los Angeles, under his belt.
Echo Deep is well known for his features, hit singles and album releases under the world renowned house music record label, House Afrika. He released the album House Afrika Mixtape 1 under the record label. The compilation received a nomination at the 14th annual Metro Awards. The DJ gained recognition in the dance music scene at the age of 18. He has already featured on the popular Don’t Look Down production, HitRefresh; a DJ TV show on Vuzu TV (consecutively). In the year 2015, he was featured in the well-known dance music streaming site; Traxsource, and ranked no.73 on their Top 100 afro-house artists of the year. 
During the year 2015, Echo Deep released his solo debut album, The Music City under House Afrika records. He went on to release his 2nd album under Motherland Distribution; home to the highly acclaimed music giants, DJ Christos and Dino Michael. The album featured the likes of Melrdy B, Maya Spector, Robyn Kate Pritchard and the legendary Steve Paradise amongst other various international and local artists. The album is available for purchase worldwide.
The DJ has also featured on various radio shows both internationally and locally. He has been featured on DJ Vinny Da Vinci’s popular radio show on Metro FM, Goodhope FM, Lesedi FM, Ukhozi FM, Deeplomattik Radio (UK), YFM, 5FM,  Child of Hope (Greece) just to name a few. He has also just bagged a new residency on UK based radio station, Drums Radio, which his fans can stream online. He has also been booked on various occasion in and out of South Africa’s famous spots, including one owned by Soweto born world-renowned DJ Black Coffee; Zone 6 Venue. Echo Deep has also shared stages with other big artists such as Vinny Da Vinci, Lady Zamar, Sjava, Tim White, Julian Gomes, Dj Christos, MoFlava, Lars Behrenroth, Rocco Just to name few. 

His other achievements include; 
A nomination from The Akademia Music awards, 2019 artist of the year for exceptional talent (highest honour).

Dj/Producer DeepJust (aka DeepJust Aquabeat) is a veteran of the NYC house music scene with over 25 years behind the turntables and even more on the dance floor. Producing & mixing a soulful blend of deep, electronic and ancestral rhythms, he's known for his technical approach, thoughtful selection, passionate sets and a style that you feel way before you hear.

DeepJust has releases on United Music Records, Oscar P's Heavy and Open Bar imprints, Fred P's Soul People Music and Boards imprints; Sound Designers Recordings, WhasDat Music, Soundmen On Wax and he has been remixed by the likes of Fred P, Hallex M, PeteBlas, Carlos Mena and Pirahnahead.

My Life (DJ Saint) I was born Jose A. Sanchez Jr. on 23rd street in Manhattan New York City on the cold month Of January, 1959. My parents both from Mayaguez Puerto Rico would later settle in Jersey City where I was raised. While growing up I noticed That I had talent in the arts and this became part of my life when I was Young. Around the 1970's I also started enjoying music, so I enrolled to take guitar lessons and this made me get into various instruments like the guitar, bass, keyboards and a trombone. At the time I started listening to the AM station WWRL coming out of Newark NJ and the FM radio station WBLS with DJ Frankie Crocker. They would play non-stop Disco music on saturday nights from 12 midnight till 4 a.m. Throughout this time I started enjoying the Funky, Afro, Jazzy, Latin, influence in the music that was played on these stations so this started my Vynle collection. I would Buy Records where ever I could find it. The record shops I Would buy at were the Magic ID Records, Newark Ave Jersey City - Downstairs Records In the 33rd street Train Station Tunnel - The Colony Record Store on 43rd Street in New York City - The Music Village Records in Newark New Jersey. As My Mobile DJ life started I joined 99 Prince Street Record Pool and later branched off to the Inter Metro Record Pool. My Vynle collection grew to 50 milk crates full until I Got rid of them in the middle 80's. I now have a collection of over 1000 cd's which include the classics I once had on vynle. Favorite Clubs - (NYC)Paradise Garage, Buttermilk Bottle, Crisco Disco, (Newark NJ) Zanzibar, Docks, (Jersey City) El Centro. Favorite DJ's - Nicky Siano, Larry Levan, Danny Krivit, Tee Scott, Bobby Kondors, Louie Vega, Francoi K., and Joe Clausell. MY LIFE IS MUSIC AND MUSIC IS MY LIFE... Dr Packer is an alias of West Australian Drum & Bass DJ/Producer 'Greg Packer' set up for Remixes & Edits of mainly retro music such as 70's , 80's , 90's Soul , Disco , Funk , Hip Hop & Reggae , Greg although known more for 'Liquid Drum & Bass' regularly plays sets of 'Old School Funk , Disco , Hip Hop Etc' purchasing his first record in 1982 at the age of 10 'Grandmaster Flash - The Message' 

Moving on to the 90's shortly after emigrating to 'Perth Western Australia' greg purchased his first pair of decks in 1989 making this year his 28th year behind the decks , in 1991 he won the WA DMC's and defended the title in 1992 but by this time greg preferred Club Dj-ing and longer sets rather than a 5 minute scratch battle routine... 

Greg then moved onto 'Jungle & Drum & Bass' music in the early 90s and often regarded as a pioneer of that sound in Australia winning many awards and went semi global touring (UK , Europe , Asia , New Zealand & Australia) 

In 1998 Greg took up production and set up his own studio running his own label 'Interphase Music' He produced over 100 tracks & remixes under the name 'Greg Packer' and was signed to many other labels in the UK & USA including LTJ Bukem's  'Good Looking Records'

By 2013 greg began mixing entire sets from CD therefore searching for music online , he started picking up re-edits and he loved the way the original songs were beefed up and sounded fat on a club system but the original vibe was still there , these edits were quantised perfectly meaning you were able to beat mix them flawlessly unlike playing the original vinyl... 

In August 2013 Greg Produced his first two edits under the name 'Dr Packer'  which has caught the attention of labels such as 'Defected / Glitterbox , Z Records , Disco Dat , Hot Digits , Masterworks Music & Midnight Riot' resulting in a number one chart position for every EP release so far on the 'Juno Download sales chart' 

2015 saw 'Dr Packer' take the number one spot on the 'Traxsource Best Nu-Disco Producer' and number 5 for 2016 , he has had the opportunity to officially remix music by artists such as 'Bootsy Collins' and 'Robert Owens' and attack the back catalogs of Simon Dunmore's Defetced label and Joey Negro's 'Z Recordings' 

2016 saw Dr Packer break out globally behind the decks in places such as 'London , Ibiza , Croatia , Scotland ,  Denmark , Germany , Singapore , Bali , Abu Dhabi & all over Australia' playing alongside some heavyweights such as 'Dimitri From Paris , Joey Negro , John Morales , Greg Wilson , LNTG ,  Basement Jaxx , Crazy P , Sonny Fodera ,  Jazzi B (Soul II Soul) Faze Action'
