A few weeks ago my friend Mike Dampf asked if I would take a look at a song lyric he wrote to see if I would be interested in writing music.  As I read them, I could hear the music you're listening to.  Since he's in Canada and I'm in the States, I messaged him a sample of how I heard his lyric and we moved forward with this song.
