Producer, Composer, Bandleader and DJ, Blend Mishkin is a versatile artist, who has mixed and move across reggae, dub, soul, funk as well as world music and in 2023 completed 30 years of discography. His works have been released on seminal record labels, such as Manos Hadjidaki's Sirius, London's Nice Up! Recods, LTJ Bukem’s Cooking Records (UK) and New York based Shadow Records.
His music have received exceptional reviews from the press and music radio shows, notably those of David Rodigan (BBC1Xtra), Toddla T (BBC Radio One), Seanie B (BBC1Xtra), Keith Lawrence ( Mi-Soul), Craig Charles (BBC 6 Music) and the late Andrew Weatheral (NTS). Everyone watches the Olympics and it is easy to appreciate the level of skill of any athlete competing there but it is hard to understand the journey each athlete has taken to get there by just watching their final performance.
