AJ Tracey is an independent multi-platinum selling artist, instrumental in pioneering the new sound of UK rap.

Collaborators have been equally wide-ranging: T-Pain, Kehlani, Skepta, Popcaan, Mabel, Digga D, MoStack, Aitch, Dave, Gorillaz and Mahalia — to name a few. 

AJ’s boundary pushing reignites and reimagines established genres: one example being the triple-platinum single 'Ladbroke Grove,' which sparked a resurgence in the sound that endures to this day.

AJ Tracey's open-minded approach continues to have positive cultural impact and reach a new generation of rap fans. In 2023, he was honoured with the Brits Billion Award, celebrating 1 billion streams in the UK alone. Baseman is a British recording artist and songwriter from East London. He is known for his work across genres, including UK hip-hop, UK drill, R&B, pop, and wave music. His music is characterized by a distinctive cadence, melodic rap delivery, and atmospheric sounds, contributing to its recognition within the UK music industry.

Baseman began his career in 2013 with the release of his debut mixtape, Tunnel Vision. The project established a loyal audience and attracted attention within the music industry. His growing profile led to collaborations with notable artists such as Davido, J Hus, D Double E, Lethal Bizzle, and CB.

He achieved wider recognition with the release of the track New Wavin’ and its subsequent remix, which featured Chip, Krept & Konan, and Sneakbo. Other notable works include the single Bad Habits (2017) and the album Trap Revien, contributing to his influence on UK rap and its evolving sound.
