Born in 1987, he started his musical studies with piano keyboard at eleven years old, as a self-taught person; then he started with M° Giuseppe Silvestro. 
ln 2003 he moved a step closer to the world of musical experimentation starting the Bachelor in Electronic music with M° Domenico Sciajno at the conservatory “A. Scontrino” of Trapani. In 2006, taken by desire of rediscovering a concrete musical dimension bounded to traditional instruments, he moved to Piano Jazz, that became his principal objective. He has now a Bachelor Degree in Jazz Music taken in the same conservatory “A. Scontrino” passing grade of 110/110 and honours; he also has a Master Degree in Jazz Music taken this October passing grade of 110/110 and honours. He studied with the world-renowned Salvatore Bonafede and Giancarlo Mazzù, Gianpaolo Ascolese, Lauro Rossi.
He started his intense musical activity doing concerts with a lot of musicians and composing jazz pieces. In 2011 he became one of the founders of “CLUSTER” musical association and participated, with a jazz quartet, to “La bottega del Jazz” doing a tribute concert to Thelonious Monk and Bud Powell. In the same year he started playing with the Zaraf Klezmer Band and they played, among other things, to the “Valdemone Festival” in Pollina, an important festival for street artists. 
He has got inspiration from the collaboration with Zaraf band: he deepened the study of the Balkan and Yiddish sonorities that often stand out in his compositions. In the same year he gave his musical contribute to the “Cotton Club” association of Menfi, doing concerts during the “Inycon” festival; with a jazz quintet he participated to “Favignana…non solo jazz 2011”.
In 2012 he played in a jazz trio with contrabassist Giuseppe Pipitone and drummer Salvatore Casano: they played at “Modica Jazz Fest” sharing the stage with Salvatore Bonafede, Laura Lala and Sade Mangiaracina. He participated to many concerts and festivals arranged by the conservatory “A.Scontrino”, like the “Mediterranean Sound Festival” 2011 and the “Focus Jazz Festival” 2012. In July 2013 he opened the concert of the "Bill Carrothers Trio" where Bill Stewart is playing, during "San Vito Jazz Festival" in San Vito Lo Capo (TP). In August he also performed during the festival "Egadi Jazz and Wine" in Favignana (TP). Last October he performed in Marseille (France) for the world renowned jazz festival "Le Cri Du Port", playing a piano solo concert just before the "Mina Agossi Trio".
He participated to many concerts and festivals arranged by the conservatory “A.Scontrino”, like the “Mediterranean Sound Festival” 2011 and the “Focus Jazz Festival” 2012.
He attended to many workshops with world-renowned musicians like Luciano Troja, Carmelo Coglitore, Rosalba Lazzarotto, Badara Seck, Walter Prati, Giancarlo Schiaffini, Manfred Brundl, Kenny Werner, Jason Lindner.

Saxophonist, flute and whistle player, occasional keyboarder and percussionist. My interests range through jazz, folk, Irish trad, soul, r'n'b, dub reggae and world music. I teach saxophone, flute, clarinet and bassoon from beginners to advanced students. In addition I can give guidance in performance and improvisation - this could apply to all instruments, not just woodwind.
