Her First experience with techno was 'Boiler Room Edinburgh' in 2015. There she was introduced to Speedy j, Planetary Assault Systems, Rolando and the one and only Gary beck who inspired Cru-909 into this EP! (we have been told is fan of this EP btw) This maybe Cru-909's debut EP but she is no stranger to the music scene in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Being a patron of the arches and Subclub growing up she has stuck with it working for blue audio, king tuts and Couloursfest, in her own words she "just fucking loves sound!!!" Now onto the actual music. We were blown away to hear these first two tracks from this rising star. Clean driving groovy and soulful. I know we haven't had much in the way of peak time sounds until now so what a way to bring them to the label! Title track initiate is deep dark driving roller that will get anyone dancing! Wicked use of vocal to create groove and atmosphere throughout. This is backed up with rework from label boss Hamaton3 only taking the vocal samples and inspiration of CRU-909's energy he has delivered a peak time/minimal roller focusing on percussion and of course his signature kick. Finally, we have, a bhean choir (Gaelic for beautiful women). this is one for the Glasgow underground scene! She has picked up the sounds of la cheetah on a Wednesday night with some great sampling to give a great nostalgic tough to this hard roller.
