Bio:
Drum and Bass Express was created on the 19th June 2011 by Tom Westwood. It was born from the inspiration of how music was being shared online through Facebook, YouTube and Soundcloud. 

Tom found that a few pages on Facebook became a common place, and he could undoubtedly find old and new Jungle and Dnb that he'd loved since the early days of the scenes inception.

This stirred Tom to want to run one of those places too, and he worked tirelessly with others to make DNBE the success it has become. 

Through Soundcloud, Tom found a new outlet to compliment what the original page was doing. This was supported by a small group of quality DJ's which really kick started the success of DNBE on this media channel.
 
People in the scene were extremely helpful and Tom found himself gaining Exclusives from some of the biggest and best names: Teddy Killerz, Submatik, Zombie Cats, Mistanoize, Dieselboy, Maztek, Rregular to name a few. 

DNBE is proud to support up and coming DJ's. In fact, some of those DJ's have had a great impact on DNBE by bringing so many great mixes to the fold. This, in turn has contributed to the growth of the Soundcloud vein. So, as it always has and by way of thanks, DNBE will always continue to represent them.  
 
At the start of 2016, The DNBE Facebook page amassed well over 13'000 likes while its Soundcloud account is in excess of 25'000 followers and is growing everyday. 

It's now time to push things even further. 

DNBE realizes it has the perfect platform to start a new outlet for Jungle and DnB. Something unique among the vast galaxy of labels. They have enlisted one of the scenes existing and established producers as new partner to help bring this vision to life. The intention is to bring out regular releases that showcase the latest Jungle, Liquid, Dancefloor & Tech from well known names and shine a light on the latest talent. 

DNBExpress is proud to present brand new label  "The Express" - representing Jungle and Drum & bass in FULL. 


"Music has been a major part of my life ever since I picked up the guitar at age 13. At first I was influenced by the indie-rock sound of the day but quickly moved on to more experimental and psychedelic sounds, playing in many bands and expanding my musicianship into the deeper realms of the bass guitar where I've remained firmly rooted to this day. However, it wasn't until I discovered the pumping evolution of the psychedelic trance sound in 2005 that I finally realized where my true musical and spiritual center was. Just a few years and many incredible dance floor experiences later I decided to start DJing and organising my own psychedelic trance events.."

As a DJ, Psytori aims to please the crowd and take his listeners on a deep psychedelic journey, through inner space, riding hypnotic trance waves and groovy bass. Encompassing many styles but always playing from the heart, aiming to connect with the dancefloor and looking to ever deepen the collective dancefloor experience!

Alex Efe is a Uruguayan DJ and music producer based in Montevideo, passionate and dedicated to the constant progress and evolution of electronic music, focusing on the House genre and its variations.

Deeply influenced by Global Underground through the work of renowned artists such as Sasha, Nick Warren, and Digweed, among others, his innate curiosity and restlessness as a self-taught musician—always exploring new formats, sounds, textures, and musical techniques—has led him throughout his life on a personal journey of self-discovery, healing, and evolution.

His music has received support from various artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Weird Sounding Dude, Simply City, Marcelo Vasami, DJ Rudy, Cream, Mayro, and Ricky Ryan. He has released tracks on labels including Electronic Groove Records, Lake Underground, Starlight Group, Future Avenue, AH Digital, and OneDotSixTwo. This has driven his regional expansion with performances in Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Brazil—one of his main goals being to share his musical expression worldwide.

Since 2011, he has led the Clubbing Mvd project alongside Diego Berrondo as well as Progressive House Uruguay, organizing events in his home country while promoting and inspiring new talent.
