Hello - thankyou for stumbling upon another space of mine... i have been writing and recording for a number of years.... did the whole live thing around manchester and have had many song placements on film and tv..i write, record and play all the songs on here myself at home.... i do hope you enjoy your stay.

MUSIC AS A FORM OF RETALIATION AGAINST INDUSTRIAL STAGNANCE

Strange as it may seem, music is created for other reasons than making a living. For many of us it is a way of staying interested in a life that is fraught with disappointment and otherwise encumbered with obstructions to contentment. Some have asked me why I don't create music that is more accessible, with potential for popular appeal. I'll consider that whenever it seems there is a shortage of such. For now, I focus on other sorts of potentials. Not much point in spending valuable time attempting popularity through imitation, and trying to do that better than others.

Only in the agony of parting do we look into the depths of love.

Vanchy is currently working on his upcoming EP, with plans to release it in September 2011.
