Ottoman & The Slap is the project by Berlin based producers and djs Kaltès (Anna Otto) and Evrim Tufekcioğlu (DearHead).

Individualy they have played in countless clubs and numerous festivals and supported many big name artists.

Despite what at first seemed like dramatically opposing musical tastes, their passion for music has brought them together in a space where deepness, darkness and beautiful melodies harmoniously collide.

Being a newly formed duo there isn’t much more we can really say about them but, based on their individual track records, good things certainly lie ahead. Listen out...

Feyza Emir has a talent for turning dance floors into unforgettable experiences. 
Her music is all about connection—bringing people together through sounds
that are rich in feeling and full of drive.

Music has always played a meaningful role in her life. Before starting her professional career, she was involved in different parts of the music industry.

She became part of one of Istanbul’s most unique creative communities: Suma, a cultural hub that brought together some of the world’s top DJs and producers. It was in that environment that she realized music was not just her passion—it was her path.

In 2015, she began her career as a resident DJ at Suma Beach, a cornerstone of Istanbul’s electronic music scene. She played in many of the city’s top clubs. Her sound flows through house, acid house, old-school house, Chicago house, vintage disco, and Detroit techno.

Music fulfilled something in her that no other form of expression could. Inspired by underground culture, she found a way to connect her past and future through the rhythms she loves most—producing pumping, bouncing beats that reflect her identity.

For Feyza, music isn’t just something you hear—it’s something you feel. Her ability to blend house, disco, and techno with her own personal energy keeps dance floors alive and moments lasting well beyond the final track.

Timuçin Coşkun began his career in fashion editor, creative direction, and photography projects, later transitioning into sharing his extensive music archive gathered in club settings with listeners. He blends styles such as Indie Dance,Techno, Italo Dance, 90s and 2000s rave culture, and house music in an eclectic way, giving his sets a distinctive identity.
Timuçin started his DJ career at venues like Lokal and Flavio in Istanbul, gaining attention through kitschy parties at Wake Up Call events. Over time, he performed at prestigious venues such as Babylon, Mini Müzikhol, Indigo, and Suma Beach. He has also played at internationally renowned festivals, including Sonar Festival, Zorlu Mix Festival, and Chill-Out Festival, as well as in cities like London, Amsterdam,Tbilisi, Prishtina, and Skopje. Additionally, he has shared stages with prominent artists such as Chemical Brothers,Jamie xx,Hercules & Love Affair, Ian Pooley,Trentemøller, Digitalism,Dj Gigola,David August and Blond:ish.

As a resident DJ at Klein, Timuçin also worked within the venue’s creative team. Separately, he contributed to Wu’s creative team and worked as a promoter during another period. For 3.5 years, he hosted the "Eternal Desires" radio program on Lounge FM, sharing his musical expertise with listeners. Timuçin continues to produce special sets for both local and international radio stations while performing at various venues worldwide.

Emir Kaynak is a Turkish DJ and Producer known for his captivating presence in the dance music scene. With a history rich in performances at some of the most prestigious locations in Turkey, Europe and the USA, Emir has shared stages with key industry names like Einmusik, Bora Uzer, Cristoph, Armen Miran, Emanuel Satie and more , marking significant milestones in his career. Driven by a passion to elevate his artist project, he ventured into production, aiming to fill dance floors with the vibrant energy they were missing. His progressive and melodic music catalog, though recent, is already making waves, featuring originals and remixes for labels like VIAGE, Inner Shah, Sunset Dreams (Interflow), and Human Resources.
