Wind Music (Chinese: 風潮音樂; pinyin: Fēngcháo Yīnyuè), Ltd was founded in 1988. It was formed by a group of musicians passionate and concerned about the local Taiwanese music environment. They take pride in creating and publishing fine music. Wind Music expects to take advantage of innovation and music vitality to lead the Taiwanese music market. It has successfully built a complete domestic sales and marketing network that covers traditional retailing (music stores and bookstores), non-traditional approaches (such as setting up music listening systems in stores, attending exhibitions, internet marketing and marketing in specialized stores) and alternate channels (including Wind Music stores, chain stores, mail order and telephone marketing). Also, from local to global, Wind Music tried to raise popularity around the globe. Wind Music’s international strategy works in several directions: from countries around the world, Wind Music selects fine quality recordings to add to their offerings, allowing their listeners to enjoy the artistic exquisiteness of different cultures. Wind Music has extensive experience in music creation, and cultivated a good working relationship with many Taiwanese musicians. It spared no effort in preserving music culture, and to cultivate creative talents in Taiwan. The core business philosophy of Wind is: “Wind music, World moved”.

MT WARNING released his 2014 debut album to rave reviews and played all over the world including Australia’s Splendour In The Grass, Laneway Festival, SXSW and UK’s Field Day. He supported The Temper Trap, Circa Waves and Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros. Airplay included Triple J, FBI, US college radio and BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe “Next Hype”.

Growing up in Shepparton, Mikey left the country at 16 for Melbourne to pursue a life in music. The distractions of city life led him to find a new home in Byron Bay, a base where he could tour from and then disappear into cities around the world, from NYC, London to Hamburg. 

The new EP “Petrified Heart” is a letter. It's a confession and an apology, it's an affirmation and a commitment to love, it's catharsis in the truest sense.

Mikey’s thoughts on writing this EP: "I needed to face myself alone and work by myself alone. I needed to dance by myself alone. I wanted to hear my own voice as it naturally sounds and make music that moves me, both in tempo and emotion”.
