Liz (middle name Melody) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, producer and classically trained pianist now living in London, UK. She works as a lyricist and vocalist for various producers in breakbeat, house and pop music also producing her own breakbeat tracks as Liz Melody or under the alias Breaks Will Eat Itself. She has 20 odd years of studio experience and collaborations under her belt.
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Liz’s dance music influences were born out of the burgeoning rave scene of the 90's where she had the opportunity to perform on stages with artists such as Acen, Jam and Spoon and Dee Lite. Always wanting to make her way in the U.K. she made a brief move in the mid 90's and did vocal work for the London-based Kickin' and Slip'n'Slide record labels garnering her a top 10 hit with the house producers Boomshanka for the track "Gonna Make You Move". After years of studio work, a gold record, and collaborations with various producers in Canada and the U.S. Liz Melody found her way back to the U.K and the music she loves.

Since settling in the UK in late 2005 she has been making some serious waves in the dance music scene. Her vocal and writing talents can be heard on tracks for Splitloop, Slyde, Future Funk Squad, The Crystal Method, James Talk, DJ Aleksij & Klod Rights, Dogmatix,C83, Baymont Bross, Curtis B, Jack Stat, B-Phreak and more... Frequently asked to collaborate there will be more to come...

She has released 3 solo singles as Liz Melody. 
'Skeptical' on Sound of Habib with the Karton remix becoming one of the biggest breaks tunes of 2009, and 'Forget U' on Re:connect Records in 2007. There was also a collaboration with producer/dj High Eight entitled 'Rock my World' released on Re:connect in 2006.
Her newest solo material comes under the alias BWEI(Breaks Will Eat Itself). The first single “Resistance’ was released in Dec/ 09. The second release is a AA entitled 'To Be Alone'/'White Light' out August/2010. BWEI is released on En:vision Recordings.

Uneedamix is a small production and Remix team with a passion for creating exciting new music.  The partnership consists of International DJ and producer (BerkleeMusic) Micky B, and professional musician Carlton Dilks (MA University college of Music, London).  

Our back catalog features tracks in many genres, but our recent focus has been on creating a unique sound that can best be described as Nu-Jazzy Chill House & Deep House

Our ambitions are to produce in house remixes for all sorts of artists from our studio facilities in Oslo, Norway; adding a touch of the Uneedamix flavor to each and every one.

As a DJ, Mark has compiled and mixed compilations for Bedrock Breaks, Fabric Live (21) & ‘Sessions Vol 8.1' for Ministry of Sound.

Released Music on R&S, Kingsize, Bedrock, Yoshitoshi, Mo Wax, Toolroom, Global Underground, SAW recordings, to name but a few.

Remixed such artists as James Zabiela, D-Nox & Beckers, Deep Dish, Lee Coombs, Stephane K, Phil Kieran, U.N.K.L.E 

He has run (as a label manager/A+R & recording artist) the highly influential LOT49 & Whole 9 Yards (W9Y) imprints.

In June 2013 Mark started a Podcast series ‘Lowering The Tone’ which in 2016 morphed into a Progressive Techno Label.

He now records exclusively for Lowering The Tone and is currently working on his fourth artist album, he still hosts Lowering The Tone podcast & also co-hosts ‘Setting The Tone’ (Podcast) with Ben Coda.

I first got into dance music in 1987 after hearing it played in a club I worked in at the time. In 1988 I learnt how to mix, and then started playing for pirate radio stations & at illegal raves up & down the UK. I played for sound systems such as Ruff Crew, Spiral Tribe, Circus Warp, P.O.D. At outdoor raves such as Cassington, The Devils Punchbowl, Castlemorten & Chobham Common. 
1996 - Moved to London and helped start a record shop called Vinyl Addiction in Camden. I then managed another shop, also in Camden.
From The Dogstar to Fabric..from Sancho Panza at the Nottinghill Carnival to a bomb shelter in Russia. I've been lucky enough to play for some great sound-systems, travel to some amazing places, and I've met some great people. 
It's been an amazing journey, so far

Hey I’m Lukkast and I come from Prague in the Czech Republic. I’m close to music since my childhood, thanks to my family. It was around 2004, when I visited one party and was dazzled by music, that I didn’t know much about. It was Breakbeat and I got so much into it, I bought a minicontroller and began with mixing. Nothing special, at the very beginning :) But I was interested in Breaks more and more, and I slowly started getting into it and improve. I was listening to Ctrl-Z, Stereo:Type, 4Kuba, Aquasky, Rogue Element and others, again and again. It did not take long and the Faith in Sound crew was established by me and two friends of mine. We have bought an equipment and started to organize parties, whenever there was a time and opportunity. The number of FiS members has kept growing during following years and there are seven of us in the crew today. Everything started to work according to our wishes and we’ve played in almost all clubs in Prague and other cities nearby. Also we are making or cooperating some open-air parties. Faith In Sound is our hobby and fun and we want it to be like that also for our fans ;) Breakbeat was not the only music style we played, obviously..there are plenty of other electronic styles you can hear at our parties now.. for example minimal, tech-house, electrobreaks, techno, acid and others. Each of us has his favorite genres and playing styles. I like Elektrobreakz and all its porterage the most. My sets are full of tracks from artists such as: Lee Coombs, Meat Katie, Access Denied, Far Too Loud, Krafty Kuts, Deekline, NAPT, Baymont Bross, Colombo, Deformaty, Elite Force, Quadrat Beat, Hedflux and many many others.
